This movie really nailed the oppressive heat and humidity of the Central American jungle. I know the film was shot on location, but a lot of movies set in the jungle fail in convincing you the actors are in a jungle. In Predator, they're constantly sweating and even dripping with sweat in some scenes. Their clothes are soaked. It's small details like this that really help immerse the audience. Predator 2 succeeded in this too. You can tell LA in that movie is just hot and DIRTY. P2 is so underrated but that's a different post.

Shane was the creator of Lethal Weapon and wanted it to end after the second installment with Riggs being killed on the ship. Glasses like that look compromising, fog and sweating without certainty that's all I'm saying. what's bending my logic brain so far is how a human intestine can stretch out that far, that was like 20 feet or more of intestine before we see the poor guy.

MMGA- Make Movies Great Again! They should make a direct sequel to the original in which a modern team is assembled 35 years later to capture the Predator. The new crew should be comprised of actors like Alan Richtson, Jason Mamoa, Michael B Jordan & Chris Hemsworth. I would love to see an opening scene that features Dutch (Arnold) making an appearance to brief the team. The sequel would ignore all of the other crappy sequels. In this universe, Dutch would be the only living human to have ever seen the alien. He would give a "Rippley" style briefing on the alien to the over confident group of operators. This would be movie magic and it would definitely make money, unlike the crap Hollyweird is producing today!
