JMV, agreed. Their prices are competitive and their ropes are durable. They're also led by a group of awesome people. Thanks so much for watching and supporting. 💪🏽
Man I wish they sold these directly in the UK. Shipping from the US to the UK is like twice the price of these ropes at the moment. On a lighter off topic note, I smashed my double under PB today. 140 with my speed rope and 44 with my heavy rope. No shin splints this time as I did them only 10 minutes into my workout whereas last time I did them at the end of a 45 minute workout.
I know. Shipping is rough. There are a lot of ropes like this in Europe. Check out Coach Chris and Adrienn Benyaghi. They have long handled ropes with good pricing. I haven't used them, but I've heard good things. Awesome job on your double unders. 140 is top-notch. Anything over 50, in my opinion, shows you have exceptional timing, coordination, and excellent cardio. Keep up the great work. 💪🏽
Another great, high quality video! I’ve been watching your content for a while now, and you’ve been a savior in my jump rope journey. Quick question: You like the EliteSRS Pro Freestyle more than this Punk Rope freestyle rope because of the nylon cord in the EliteSRS, right? But you like the Punk Rope basic rope more than EliteSRS’s competitor to that, the Boxer 3.0, and the Boxer also has the nylon cord in it’s rope. So what is it about the punk rope basic rope that you like enough to counter-act the nylon cord in the Boxer 3.0, and prefer it?
Xander, thanks for the support. I'm glad you find the content valuable. Great questions. I like the EliteSRS Pro Freestyle because of the nylon but I also prefer the grips, even though the Punk Rope freestyle rope has good grips. I like the basic Punk Rope a bit better than the Boxer 3.0 because the handles have an indentation for your thumbs.
@@JumpRopeVeteran Great, thank you so much! I actually have another question. Are there any changes on your top 5 ropes since the video you posted? I was also wondering if the versa trainer was in there somewhere and how your overall likeness of it compares to your likeness of the rope master and EliteSRS freestyle.
Xander, you're welcome. Great question. There are no changes as of now. I'll post an update at around the year mark if I have any changes. That said, there are many great ropes out there aside from the five I like. Take care and keep up the good work. 💪🏽
@@JumpRopeVeteran Awesome I definitely will! Thanks! Are you ever going to do a video on your second top five ropes(aka a top 6-10)? Also, does the nylon cord in the EliteSRS rope provide a better feel, or is it just that it’s more durable? Thanks a lot for your time.
Hi Zander, great questions. In the future, I'm going to rank order all the jump ropes that I have currently. That'll be a long and involved video, but I think it'll be cool to do it. I'll also update the Top five each year. I think that the rope inside the cord lends to both better performance and slightly better durability, but that's just me.
Excellent review as always and the freestyle with catching back the handle my goodness that was clean, JRV. In your personal opinion of course, how does Punk Rope Freestyle Jump Rope compare to the Buddy Lee Master Jump Rope?
Bear, I appreciate the support. Thanks so much. I think that the Buddy Lee Rope Master is heavier because of the hardware. It's also more expensive, but I think it's a better rope overall. The rope I reviewed here is more basic. I found that it's easier to turn quickly because it doesn't have all the hardware that the Rope Master has, though. 💪🏽
@@JumpRopeVeteran Oh ok that makes sense definitely going to get the Master jump rope to help me be more efficient with my double unders, thanks again for the reply!
Hi there, can you please check inside the handles? I bet it is marked Sanguine. I own a elevate freestyle rope and handels are exactly the same. Only diff is the rope that on mine I suspect is vinyl and is without the foam grips.
Lorenzo, thanks for watching. I appreciate it. It does say Sanguine inside the handles. I believe they're a major supplier out of India. A lot of retailers purchase their ropes from them.
Carlos, I recommend the Punk Rope basic rope. It's a good choice because it isn't expensive, it's durable, and it works well. The owners are good people.
Thanks for this review JRV - very informative as ever. I have a rope that I think is almost exactly the same as Punk Rope's The Beast. I think it's excellent. I'd be really interested in your opinions on The Beast.
Dan, thanks for your support. I appreciate it. I've heard The Beast is a good rope. That will be added to my review list. Thanks for the suggestion. 💪🏽
@@JumpRopeVeteran I very much look forward to that review. I do look forward to each Monday for the latest edition of Jump Rope Veteran. On a separate note: I have tried posting a comment on your interview with Curtis. But each time I try to post, my comment never shows up. Maybe it's a glitch with my account. I just hope you don't get 20+ comments from me under that interview. I just wanted to say this: "I thought that this was another very interesting podcast. Thanks to JRV and Curtis for this. One website I like that has short, accessible podcasts on philosophy is Philosophy Bytes: philosophybites.com/2014/06/bites-podcast.html. There are hundreds of short podcasts on there. The website is a bit basic though."
Dan, thanks for your support. It means a lot. I'll check out the comment issue. I think that there's one comment of yours that already posted. I'll look into it. Thanks for the philosophical podcast. I'm always looking for more cool stuff to listen to. Take care!
Frank, thanks for watching. It does, but the cord on my rope is thinner than the Punk Rope basic ropes I have and is the same size as my other freestyle ropes. 💪🏽
Thank you for watching. Please subscribe and hit the thumbs up button. JRTF. 💪🏾
Yet another awesome review! You never disappoint, keep up the great work.
Luke, thanks so much for the support. I appreciate you! 💪🏽✔
Punk Rope has some good and cheap ropes that last a long time. I use them pretty exclusively for my outside jump rope sessions.

What a tease. Really value your reviews on ropes. I was highly disappointed that this rope isn't available!
Aaron, thanks so much. I talked with Punk Rope. They're working on re-stocking. I had no idea they were out when I did this review.
Your vertical is insane!
Jim, thanks for the compliment, but I don't think it's all that high and can always use improvement. It's tough as you get older.😂

Great review!
Tic Tac, thank you for your continued support! 💪🏽
Cool rope, cool company
For sure. They're good people.🙏🏾
Is it Same as elite SRS long handle rope??
Mohamad, it's not the same, but it is similar. The Elite SRS has different grips and has a string in the middle of the rope.
Punk Rope´s website says this is a 5 mm rope?
Frank, thanks for watching. It does, but the cord on my rope is thinner than the Punk Rope basic ropes I have and is the same size as my other freestyle ropes. 💪🏽
@@JumpRopeVeteran It seems like it's this one: www.punkrope.com/jump-ropes/themagician
That's the one! They may have mis-labeled it or I could have a one off, 4mm version.
kenguru style intro )
Nova, thanks for the continued support. I appreciate it. 💪🏽
Men are really colour blind 😁. The rope is clearly blue not purple. Now back to what I was doing 🏃♀️
