    a lot of beutiful glass, and I can see a lot of stones too, I make stonepictures so I should have been at a beach like this one. Nice tour in the sun.

      Yes the stones there are gorgeous! I’m currently in Spain though and the quartz here is like ready made pendants!

    Seaham beach is definitely my number one seaglas beach. I've picked up just as chunky pieces there,even a huge cobalt round one,and then you have the unique,100 year old multis on top of that,with their old ,and wonderful history ,nothing better than that ♡☆♡☆

      @hedleyvii Год назад +1

      Definitely agree seaham is also good for big chunks but much more plentiful on the beaches to the south of seaham and way less crowded. No good for multis though. Also just wanted to let you know the multis are more modern than you think. At most around 50/60 years old. They are not from the old seaham works.

    I can’t pick a favorite! You found so many amazing pieces!!! The Cod marble (congratulations on your first marble!!!!), the cobalt blues, the stopper stems, and those huge bubbles- they were all my favorites!
    Love Bear!!!! How bad are the steps? If hubby and I ever get over to the UK, this beach would have to be on our list! Thanks for taking us along! Take care! 🙏❤️

      It was SUCH a good haul! The steps are ridiculously steep and there are soooo many! I had little breaks on the way up- but it’s 10000% worth it. The glass is amazing so yes deffo recommend you put it on your travel list!

    Another great video. The beaches south of seaham are miles better for glass so long as ya not wanting multis.

    The large piece you asked advice on. Shine a light underneath in a dark place, and it will glow. Found a bigger one other month. 😊 cannot remember what you call it 😮

    * Those Mermaid's Tears (Aqua) were Awesome.. So many large one made it Amazing.. The opalescent piece would make a really nice Ring.. Do you collect Agates as well?? At the 7:06 mark touching your thumb joint is a piece of caramel colored chalcedony glowing.. Sadly you didn't find any milk glass in a soft aqua or green.. Love your infectious joy when you spot a "nice chunky one".. Keep finding!!

    15 mins dude, I’ve a few bits… not that big!😂 I THINK it’s bonfire opalescent glass 🤷‍♀️🤘

    • @TheHappyPicker
      @TheHappyPicker Год назад

      I know the opalescence is caused by cooling the glass a certain way so it could be waste from that but my bits have the same surface texture of bonfire 🔥
