Driving around the narrow, unpaved mountainous roads of the high desert we came across an old abandoned mining camp. It was difficult to date - maybe from the 40’s or 50s. And boy were we in for a surprise find. Thanks Jeff! Oh yeah and we need that gas money for sure! We do have some high top boots we normally wear. On this occasion we checked the entrance before filming, but will be wearing our high tops from here on out!
Amazing how much your vocabulary has improved about mining and associated explorations since I first started watching your channel. Really enjoy your adventures. WAAAY better than television!
Again another amazing video!!! Y'all earned at least $60 and I earned a couple minutes of watchin' yall have a good time. Thanks for bringing us along for the another adventure!!! Stay safe and see y'all on the next pin!!!
Y’all have made an interesting discovery, as well as financially rewarding. As with many of your discoveries, the story behind the structures is a mystery.
Woo-hoo! Now that's a tank of gas. Great explore! I love your opening.Pin in the atlas, productions. Really nifty there. Y'all came into my mind with them fires. Hope all is well.
These are Series 1950-A notes. They do not have any "strips" in them as US currency did not have security strips until the 1990s. These notes were in circulation in the late 1950s and early 1960s. They are real.
"MONET, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" were in the money! Like you the masonry work away amazed me. It must have taken lots of time to do that nice of job and if was not a temporary structure. Looking at some mill sights and a few ghost town from the 1860 on I wonder if maybe the Chinese built them thank you both no trip was complete here
@PinInTheAtlas could be! Lol the way I just said that to myself I now have the Hong Kong Phooey theme in my head. "Henry the mild mannered Janitor? Could be" 😂
the way the $$$ was folded up ... looks like it might have fallen out of an explorer's jeans and/or accidentally got pulled out when they putled their hands out of ther pocket .....interesting stuff ... Thank You
I bet you that money was worth more than the face value I'm back in the day you built with what you had and it looks like they had a lot of rock to get rid of I never always old railroad ties laying around
How did anybody did How did anybody not find that money. It has been a long time, since money looked like that. Also pack rates will eat paper currency. No question, it was meant for you to find it.
WOW, there đefinitely were tire tracks on the dirt road.😊 That money 💵 must have been so unexpected. Thanks for taking us along, Andrea and Steven. 🏚🏚🏚👏🏻👏🏻🧡 💥 I looked it up. It seems that $60 in 1955, would be worth $706.33 today!🎊 It's too bad the person who stowed it away never reclaimed it.😑
