The livelihood in the Philippine islands is fishing and you came upon a fishing village hence there are many fishing boats there. The chickens you saw are what we call 'Native chicken'. We also have the white-feathered chickens which are grown in big volumes by big chicken-raising businesses that are provided to the food chains who served chicken menus, and those sold in Manila & cities' supermarkets in malls.

My daughter spent most of her junior elementary schooling in the Philippines , senior and college in the US. Her comparison if summarized in one word … or 2 - It’s happier and chiller there.
As i can remember,way back from my university school, lots of iraqi students studied in our university before....and i think some of them live there for good.. ❤️🇵🇭
