Rizzi is only one who could clearly see the obvious problems that could be realistically changed in middle of season- with prove of improvement in those areas. For example, soft tissue problem. Available is so important to evaluate players. Screw it. I’d give Rizzi a prove-it deal. Get Carr supporting cast, keep developing Rat, and pick up another QB prospect.
That TD catch, that was called incomplete. I feel like just about every play like that, is called in the other team's favor, 8 out of ten times. That also includes ball spots.
All things considered, Darren Rizzi did a pretty good job with this depleted team throughout all the injuries. I hope the new coach keeps him. Unlike Dennis Allen, Darren Rizzi got more out of less.
I agree. What’s going to happen and be annoying is folks are going to trash Rizz because they don’t want him to get the job, and sure, whatever. Interim roles are tough (especially when it’s for half the season) and I think he handled it about as well as you could’ve hoped.

McCoy first drive of the third game, and they were driving down field. No way it was going to be the last drive of that game. There is no good time for an injury, but this team, this year got them at the worst possible times. Poor Foster
I agree guys it’s time for a Change. It’s should be a new direction with a different vision and a new voice. Training Staff / Drafting and Scouting Staff / Defensive Staff should all be Replaced . Carr should be back until the current deal expires after next season. Davis and Cam should return. Honey Badger missed too many Tackles / Interceptions and is small and a step slow and should be replaced . Harris should be back on a Team friendly deal . Help is needed at Corner. Adebo / Taylor / Kool Aid / Ugo all gave up big plays and missed tackles and were constantly beaten on 3rd downs ! Granderson and Bresee are the keepers on the DLine the rest of them were disappointing. It’s just time to finally make wholesale changes up and down the Front Office and Roster.
When Carr initially arrived he rubbed the fan base the wrong way. He was pointing fingers at receivers when it was obviously his fault. When he did that he fell out of favor. Then the scrutiny began as his stats came when the games were out of hand. Restructure his contract as he’s a backup at best. At this stage of his career and you look at Stafford, Goef, Wilson hell even Rogers, Carr does not measure up and what made it worse, you had Finished Allen at the helm. Understand, the coach got let go twice with the same QB🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️⚜️
Let Spencer sink or swim next year and if we only win 2 games then we draft one of the better or best QBs in 2026! If Rattler catches on and balls out, then we have our QB that way. Derek Carri ain't doing nothing but winning 8 games and having business pick 15th overall. That is the point that you are missing!
So your suggestion is pay Carr 50 million next season leaving no money for other players so that you walk away from Carr the following year because your not paying him 60 million so Carr wins 500 giving u a middle round draft pick this is not logical at all it’s time to cut Carr play rattler you are convinced he’s going to loose then u get to pick a top draft choice but I think your wrong rattler has not had a game where he has had support

With the running game making a comeback. I would like to see the Saints run a multiple front defense. 2 to 5 linebackers, 2 to 5 linemen
