Guys if a full grown football player, who lift weights and in perfect shape hits you even with a helmet on,will hurt you. Even if a regular person hits you, you will feel it. Get your hand on a football helmet, put it on, and let someone hit you, then tell me it doesn't hurt
So true. i played in high school and my whole body was covered in bruises after games as a full-back. You don't feel it much during the game, but you sure do after
Punching the helmet is just a reflex action. You're all worked up and mad and want to fight, and the natural thing is to throw a punch. You forget the helmet is there.
The game you were thinking about with people swinging the helmet was the Steelers vs the Browns. Myles Garrett swung Mason Rudolph's helmet at him and caught him in the head.
Good to hear john maddens. Voice he was the best. I loved that guy my wife hated his voice. It would drive her crazy so she always went shopping until after game and return home. Lol
You should see the amount of fines these players end up paying. Even something that wasnt called during the game there are people who review each game and after the season ends you get a package showing how much you owe in fines
Daz overthinking again.. punching someone in the helmet isn’t a gesture.. 🤦♂️🤷♂️ it’s called being a really, really really mad that’s literally it.. when you’re that mad, you don’t care. I played hockey my entire life and most people don’t care what they hit when they are that infuriated.
Back in the 70s and 80s, when the Dallas Cowboys were "America's Team", the Steelers and the Redskins were bitter rivals of the Cowboys. It was deeply intense.
This is a little glimpse into the start of some of those big cheap shots you see. Teams start to chirp back and forth at each other. One team hits someone harder than usual. Then the other team retaliates with a cheap shot that will send someone to the hospital.
Most of these is a cornerback shutting down a wide receiver and talking shit to him until he snaps. The best ones just stand there and take a beating happily knowing the other team is going to pay a big price.
I would say Raiders probably have the longest hatred from their non fan base/ other teams. in the 70'80's they made a reputation to be a hard hitting, break the rules type team, that is still with them today. I really thought that a play from three years ago, steeler at browns, helmet pulled off QB, then hit on head with his own helmet.. bench clearing roucous.
As a person that has punched and been punched with helmets and heads. Strangely enough i broke my hand punching a skull not a helmet.... but getting punched with a helmet to me anyways is worse than getting punched in the face. The face i absorb it and yeah it hurts but just that part hurts. Getting punched with a helmet your whole head is ringing bc the helmet disperses the energy through the whole head and your ears start ringing... just my opinion but it's worse with a helmet.
That’s entirely out of context. These are just athletes with their tempers and testosterone running rampant. You may need to rewatch that bit to understand what he was saying.

rattles your brain for sure

its also a respect thing... and yeah could definitely hurt your neck
It hurts their hands more than the person getting hit💀 people break their hands punching without a helmet and they want to punch a helmet

trust me you’ll feel it too
It's just the heat of the moment they don't care. If they break their hands-on the other guy's helmet, they're just ready to go.

Whoa! #93 with the Colts is my cousin. I remember that. We talked about that as a family. He's retired now from the Tennessee Titans.
I just wanna say great reaction guys keep NFL coming!

I like how you guys pause the video and talk about past videos that are in a clip. Cheers 🍻
The NJ Devils fan of 40 years says: "Thanks so much for displaying the NJ Devils pennant.
That shit hurt getting hit on the helmet.
Yeah, I think they think the helmet is armor.
I love these types of NFL videos - i hope you do more of them - thanks for posting this one.
3:16 Lattimore has taken up permanent residence in Evans’ head. The sad thing is Lattimore was penalized there too despite only defending himself.
at the end of video it was MYLES Garret and MASON Rudolph. BROWNS vs STEELERs intense rivalary.
You never mess with Steve Smith

1:48 they punch sometimes in the throat. Also, your knuckles can get through the facemask. Fyi😂 example 4:19 Crabtree, also go for eyes 👀
You put a football helmet on and let me smack you, you’re gonna see a flash of light for a second I promise you.
Been begging any channel to react to training camp NFL fights
You gotta watch Steve Smith Sr highlights
Correct. I for one of many do not like the Dallas Cowboys....but, I am a New York Giants fan.🏈🇺🇲🍔🍺🍻🏈

React to the commanders vs broncos it was great comeback win
I hope they have Andre Johnson vs that titans db I forgot his name he was infamous for being dirty
Edit: they had it! 😂
You're thinking of Courtland Finnegan. He was a cheap shot artist and big mouth.
I want the shirt!!
Did you notice how many number 13's were involved in these ?
this is a fun channel and Adian knows more about football than some Americans .
Lol no he doesn't he constantly says idk when his dad asks him questions his dad knows more than him
And I know more about soccer than some Europeans 🤷🏽♀️. Not everyone in the world loves sports.
@@noelramirez1551 yes he does do you live here? he knows way more trust me
In the "old days" 50-60`s defensive players would slap offensive players right over their
ear holes.... got so bad they made it illegal.
I’m all late but why not body shots

This is why we can't have celebrations like the old days😕

All three of their divisional rivals, as well as the Steelers, Dolphins, Cowboys, and 49ers have been archnemeses of the Raiders.

Most of these were just little shoving matches that happen just about every game though.
Ngl I dont think nfl players care about ejecting each other strategically lol
Goes to show how much of a pest Finnegan was since Johnson was not known for being overly emotional/allowing people to get under his skin.
Punching a helmet doesn't really hurt your hand because of adrenaline.
The key is open-palming so you don’t break your hand 😂😂 slap the hell outta them
