Not sure where you are located but I am down in the southern Missouri/ Northern Arkansas are pretty much in the center of the ozark national scenic river ways. Thousands of acres of public land with some monster deer. I only personally have 16 acres that I hunt but if you are ever down this way I would love to get out and hit some public land with you. I am nobody special or anything. Just an Iraq combat veteran always on the look out for opportunities to hunt.
I’m heading to Missouri on the 9th to hunt the last week of bow season I’m from Ohio this is my first out of state hunt my wife’s family lives in tunas in Dallas county got any pointers for late season out there? Been staring at maps for the last week trying to find public land that has ag fields
I grew up hunting in Dallas county on our family farm. We always did some food plots and man did the deer flock to them late season. The only problem with finding a field on public is it’s going to get some pressure, I would focus on natural food sources in the woods on public. Good luck though man!
