You two looked like you have been dancing for years together. I’m just so amazed how you have never dance with a person before and can dance like that. I think I have watched this video over and over. So happy you took first place. You two deserved it. Both were so smooth and clean with the moves. I really enjoy watching you both.
My favorite of all the performances. I watched that walk away move that perfectly fit the lyrics and you followed seamlessly. Watch that bit probably 20 times

These improv dances are so addicting to me. I used to dance before I got sick and it was my first love. I did ballet/pointe and pas de deux and I miss it so much

I love watching the way magic happens during these dances. It’s also really beautiful, the way each dancer is so supportive & excited for you guys at the end. You are filling your own cup, while also filling the cup of a room full of mostly strangers. You must leave these events feeling so great! Thanks for posting these on social media!! So often, ppl chose to upload chaos & mayhem to either try & find others who support their lunacy or because they thrive off arguing with strangers. It’s beautiful to see such a kind & harmonious video that just puts a little pep in your step. (No pun intended!)💜🖤💙
That’s so sweet of you to say! Yes, the West Coast Swing Community, both the audience and the competitors themselves, are so wildly supportive of each other. It always melts my heart to hear the cheers and see the smiles.
This is magic. What in the heck...how do you do that? There's such a listening art to this - listening to slight pressure and movements and rhythms and it's just mesmerizing to watch!
I swear, it amazes me watching your shorts how two strangers who may/or may not know the song can just improv a dance like any of the ones I’ve seen! How on earth do you all get on a similar page without it being choreographed??
You've Totally inspired me to take up west coast swing~ my first class is this week, and I'm SO EXCITED!! 🥂💃 You've got to be the SMOOTHEST lead I've ever seen. Absolute perfection every time. ❤🎉🥂💃

Man, don't know how he could wear that sweater. Maybe it's his look? Get rid of it. He's the star of the show. He could perform well with almost any of these ladies. Not to say this wasn't the winning performance. If only I had 58 years and seven less arthroscopic knee surgeries:-) Nice performance!!
I've watched a few of these west coast swings. I don't get why the dance teachers are lazy with improving the male posture and thier arm lines and leg line, the girls get right, the guys look lazy and untrained
How i can dance like this ? 🥹 Where to start. I like to dance spontaneously alone but with a partner it would be injury 😅 if there would not be exact steps. It is soothing to see this flowing
Ditto...the fluidness and communication of this dance style are remarkable. Spontanious is one of my favorite words because it allows for creativity. As anartist and a dance lover spontenaity are keys
