Why is it necesary to remove all of that from the bottom of the Roomba to remove the circuit board? I have a cat that urinated on top of the Roomba and I suspect that the circuit board is damaged. Where can one buy parts for a Roomba on line?

My schedule button on my 595 isn't working but all others are i can set time. I read the contacts some time get dirty and can use cleaning with alcohol. What contacts would i be cleaning

You need to dissassemble the Roomba, dissassemble the button, it is hold by single piece of tape, then remove it, and clean it there with rubbing alcohol.

@@robovaccollector your video is very helpful understanding how things work. Its been months since used schedule botton i changed tire treads so removed the battery just in case and it wiped memory.

@@robovaccollector i did it this morning went all the way to mother board 🤞, it was covered with dust so blow it all away. The buttons didn't look like tarnished so just used air in can to blow that board and connected wire out. put it all back together hit schedule button twice and it worked 👏👍😁. Its on run and seams to working fine, now just to see if it docks 🤞 like to move it around think its blind in one eye🧐.
