Not to sound rude lol, but the hatred from the character is actually canon since mostly of them probably dislike him, the Mizi accident and now's Till, Hyuna also clearly hate him to the gut so it's not too much :3
Nobody is mad at him for trying to survive, but more at his way of doing it. He looks like he takes pleasure in making others suffer and lose/die. He looks like he's having the best time of his life when he triggers Till's recent trauma from the loss of Ivan, and also laughs at it. He may be the best in terms of survivance skills and singing, but he's just an asshole in the long run. When Till won over the other guy, in no moment did he try anything against him, but he only did his best. Same with Ivan, when he won to the other participant, he didn't look like he was enjoying beating them. He was simply focused on doing good himself, meanwhile Luka takes pleasure in breaking people. That's quite enough to justify why some ppl would hate him tbh. I kinda get why he would be like this, but it is a bit too much so, naturally someone is bound to dislike him.
