I remember the old red hood tutorial on how to make a furrowed brow and I always thought that effect was super interesting for how much it does and how simple it is. I also see your silver marker on the black foam. Do you do anything to keep it from drying out? I did it once and it dried out instantly almost...actually all my sharpie do that on the grey foam I use. idk why
I wanted to do it here as well but it completely slipped my mind. I’ll do it for another Batman cowl I do in the future. Maybe for my personal bat suit.
You make amazing pieces! That being said I think that the hardest part of trying to build something that you have created is trying to figure out where to add the (I don’t know if I am saying this right but I noticed that you had them on the left and right now sides where the nose pieces are supposed to be glued to. ) I think you either called them ledges or just extra or marked off places where there’s something that needs to be glued to create the desired effect. That’s just my ignorance though. I really appreciate your work and I’m trying to get accustomed to pepakura.
I'm really enjoying all the content, and glad I found this channel. I've recently got into the hobby of collecting masks. Mostly Slipknot masks lol but I'm really interested in this hobby of making helmets and stuff like that. I definitely wanna start making some of the cool stuff you been building 😀
I tried this one as my first project. I've officially made my first piece of garbage XD I had lot of pieces not line up correctly and my cuts were not beveled well. I'll will keep trying! Thanks for all of the help!
hey, thanks for the tutorial you had made.. but, can you help me? I'm follow your instructions and stuck in the eye and nose installation looks different on your video on the pattern and I thank you for being allowed to download your file
@@Heroesworkshop it worked out alright I bought a kit thingy from the website so I’m making a neck guard gauntlets armor and shin guards so hope fully it turns out good
I couldn´t finish my Captain America helmet so far and there´s another one. Thanks for this great piece of art :) I have to order another bunch of Foam :D
Man, I am getting irritated. I was unsubbed for some reason. I was looking for Batman EVA pattern builds, and this came up and I watched it. That is how I found out I was unsubbed. Anyway the brows are so effing hard to do right on Batman. God job though. I love the aesthetic.
I’m eventually making some new Batman videos when I get back to cosplay. It’ll be for a cowl and chest piece. It’ll be a much superior cowl than the one shown in this video.
@@Heroesworkshop I can't wait! Yeah man get back in the game! See, I am from the 3D printing side of things and honestly EVA seems more practical and durable. It just takes some practice. So, I keep looking for all my DC heroes to build. EVA is way more time efficient too. I will go to your website and see what is up there.
Also, what may be cool is for you to do a video on how to approach leg armor and make it look good. That is really a subject not done much in this genre. I mean there are videos that show people making it, but they do not talk about how to design it to be able to look good, move well, etc.
I know how you feel about 3D. I could easily print anything. I have a few printers but I don’t feel like I actually make it myself. Takes a lot of the fun and art out of it. It’s different when 2 people use the same patterns. It’ll always look different. It’s your own style.
Hola te veo desde España, he visto el vídeo y me ha encantado. Me gustaría probar hacerme una pero no sé donde descargar las plantillas. Tu máscara ha quedado preciosa y quería hacer algo similar. Gracias por la ayuda.

@@Heroesworkshop yo this is gonna help me so much woth this and prevoius vodeo its simple and easy to make thanks for making these videos man thank you
Thanks. I had a feeling it would work well with the cowl like it did for the chest. I’ll probably do the same color for my Full Batman build in the future.
Awesome job on that Cowl buddy. The gunmetal paint with the black highlights makes it look like real metal, well done! Hopefully you will build the whole suit of armor at some point. Thanks again!
That turned out awesome and that was badas of Devon to send that care package! Also admittedly I work for Amazon Delivery and I listen to the Batman soundtracks here and there. Also I'll listen to your videos while on the road.
Thanks Josh. Devin sent me this stuff way back months before I even had thought about doing videos again. Super kind and caring company. That’s for sure.
The size for me. If you're gonna ask question like this and not watch the beginner tutorial I mentioned at the start of the video, you're not gonna learn anything.

Thanks, John. I never thought I’d ever make a foam Batman cowl either. It kind of haunted me ever since I failed miserably years ago. Looking forward to doing a full armor at some point.
Medium head size but you’re supposed to scale it to your own head. It’s part of building things like this. Don’t build it without measuring your head. I teach how in the Pepakura foam tutorial i mention in the intro of this video. 😎👍🏻
Maybe watch the beginner Tutorial I mentioned at the beginning of the video and learn how to build and find what bevel. It's a building system that you apply to other pepakura files. Quick question: what can you use instead of heat gun and Kwik seal?
late reply but, a hairdryer works in place of a heatgun, just a little slower. not really a replacement for kwik seal though. maybe caulk?
Great vid you should try making some halo weapons
I want to build Master Chief’s Assault Rifle from infinite after I make the armor.
whats a good place to put the template?
should I wait untill kwik seal dry to apply bounce ?
Yes. Definitely.
Battinson cowl please
Didn't expected a dc build but Looks really neat

I got the supplies today and I am gonna try and make it but this is my first time doing anything like it so wish me luck 😃

I gotta admit, the pure gunmetal without the black shading brought the Justice Lords Batman to mind.
9:09 reshoot with eye makeup =D
I’ll do it next time I make my Batman armor. I’ll make a new cowl too.
