Thanks Patrick Smith. This was not fake. The time it took for the head to go off was less than 20 seconds after the fire was lit. All I did was make a video at a side by side burn demo just to see how the Go PRO would work and see it in slow motion. Can't believe all the haters out there. I am not a sprinkler installer but install and service fire and security systems. Just thought it was cool video shot. So too bad for all you haters because I think it is a cool video. If you don't like it then that is not my fault. In the side by side burn the side with no sprinkler was totally involved and flash over in about 2 mins. So I think 20 seconds and the head goes off and puts the fire out is pretty amazing.
@@enzo17_33 This was probably a normal 30 fps video put through an interpolated process to make a pseudo "slow-motion" film. Doesn't mean it's fake, but the slow-motion part is.
I liked your video of the slow motion. I like seeing those sprinkler demos and how well they work. This is something I would like to invest on. Nice video.
I think too many people (who don't read descriptions) didn't realise HOW slow this actually was! Perhaps a future edit would be to show both the realtime as well as the slow mo version as some other vids have done. cool vid regardless, nice to see a concealed head used for a change!
all concealed sprinklers are slow or there is a special issue with this sprinkler? i mean fire is being engulfed all over the room but why the bulb is not bursting?
No just for aesthetics. Those caps are a pain in the ass. The fit losely so they don't prevent the sprinkler from doing it's job. So sometimes it is hard to keep them from falling off.

My high school had pop out sprinklers. Never saw them go off but I figured it would be pretty cool.
