- Thanks to the requests I had from some viewers. I decided to fly and drive to the most northern tip of Japan and complete 2 missions that I have always dreamed of. However for a guy who’s not used to such a long drive, it didn’t take long for me to start losing my marbles... with time ticking away will I make it in time? Or will my trip be for nothing?!
The tip of Japan Soya cape is in a city called Wakkanai,
Check below for more details what else you can do there.

So now I've gone to the northern tip and completed my missions. Now I would like to ask you again, where you want me to go in Japan and that will become my next mission to complete!
Your next mission is Uchiura Numazu, agent Risottoro
How about the most Southern part of Japan? :)
Next stop: the Southernmost point of Japan.
You have your mission, Agent Rissottoro. Good luck.
Go to the southern most point of Japan agent rissotoro
Your next mission, is to go to the southern most tip of Japan, dragging chris along, eat something delicious, and then dance for US.
Also I think your little driving navigator was on mute.
Make Ryotaro's Journey Across Japan with Chris as a sidekick. The journey will provide enough oppurtunities/accidents to take over his channel :D
"Journey through Japan" for differentiation's sake.
it will then be Ryotaro in Japan
And in contrast, it should be the most luxurious trip possible, just to show off to a certain peasant called Chris.
Would definitely watch that
Journey Across Japan: Two Men, Only One Survives
Love that you put “Clair De Lune” in this video. Much classier than Chris’ channel!
He only wears black sweat shirt, what do you expect?
@@RyotarosJapan 😂
@@RyotarosJapan 😂😂
Better than funny Brazilian music.
xD
I recommend inviting yourself to Chris Broads apartment to criticize his interior design.
Yes 😂😂😂
PLEASE
Epic😆
Please
The internet has spoken, it must be done.
Appear on Trash taste podcast and get more views than Chris
I would love that
no
Let's do that
Literally yes
Chris won the The Best Guest in the Trash Taste Awardw
It'd literally be the best thing if Rissotoro wins it next time and trash talk Chris about it
Ryotaro, the quality of the videos keep getting better! The humor and style continue to improve more and more to become uniquely yours. Keep it up, man! P.S If you need any help kidnapping Chris, just let me know
So when we going to the most southern, western and eastern part of japan 🤔
Natsuki's gonna come down with a copyright claim for that "justice delicious". Also, when are you bringing him or Sharla to your channel?
Sharla already on this channel, the karaoke bar one
When Ryotaro says "just the tip", this is what he means.
Man now I know why Chris always takes Ryotaro on road trips, The sound track.
Wow, Ryotaro has a really good singing voice. I want a full version of him singing Sukiyaki by Kyu Sakamoto lol.
Years. YEARS I've been looking for that song's title. Thank you.
That really caught be off guard, he has fantastic voice!
The quality of your videos are getting better and better 👍
Watching this at 5 AM in California, keep up the great work Ryotaro 🥳
Ha! Now watching at 7am in California.
The head banging reminds me of that scene in Wayne’s world!
That is exactly what I grew up with.
@@RyotarosJapan not worthy! Not worthy!
can remember doin the same headbang on same song in 2003 on Bali, in a Daihatsu Taruna 1.6 it was awesome
Очень приятно, что за меня подняли невидимый стакан! Спасибо Рйотаро
Bljat
Nice
да.
What does it say?
@@mt8956 I've expressed my gratitude for noticing my existence
I punched the like button BEFORE the video started . . . Ryotaro madness . . . 🤣👍👍👍
This guy's a natural RUclipsr. Laughed into my own noodles when he did the bit about being caught in the blizzard and then said 'only joking!'. Very likeable chap in his own right. Keep 'em coming, Rytardo.
video got 1 dislike!? must be Chris i think. love the video Ryotaro! greetings from the Netherlands!
I was one of the requesters! Thank you for going to the northernmost point for me!!
Congratulations, you've beaten Chris Broad's Journey Across Japan to the country's northernmost part 😂
The music performance in the driver's seat was A+++ Thank you for that. 😂
I love how you do the interviews, you keep them very respectful and natural. I can't stand those awkward cringy interviews.
Your videos are getting better and better, not only the quality and content, but the fluidity of the way you speak, cut and direct it all. I particularly enjoyed that short interview it was very fluid. Keep up the great work Risotoro!
This is by far the best video you have made so far, I can see how you have improved as time goes by. Keep up the good work! You just went to the most northern point so I think it’s only natural to go to the most southern point now.
Etorofu's Shibetoro point is the most northern point. However, this is a terrific video with great commentary and the most respectful treatment of a master chief.
Looks like Chris has come here too!
Mate 🇦🇺 Having lived in Aus... 5h?... You know that's just round the block 🤣 With most of our major drives 12h and over, I'm surprise you even blinked! And giving in to the Japanese Dashboard Woman... Well - no comment ;) Loving your channel, and keep being you... 😀
I love how a lot of the traditional Japanese restaurant in Japan have a chef that is so passionate about their craft.
You know why i like your Channel? You are completely different from other japanese channels and you are funny!
You should got to the most southern part of Japan and wold like to see a video of historical places in japan like the ruins of castle Kanda
Plink..... that's another wish added to my bucket list.
Ryotaro head banging to what sounds like Queen has made my morning 😂
been to Wakkanai, Soya Misaki around 3 times, its not a destination that has many stuff to see, but nature and weather makes it incredibly memorable, its always windy, tide is high all the time, yet wilderness and tranqulity, arduous journey one has to take to get there makes it real good destination to visit.
This was my favorite video so far! I love when you're being silly and sarcastic it suits your channel well! I felt like I could taste the noodles when you were trying them! 😋 It's so amazing when you hear of restaurant owners picking each vegetables themselves! It shows how much they care.
Do they serve the noodles warm or cold? I bet warm would be lovely in that weather.
Hokkaido looks so amazing. I'd love to see people explore it more! I'm especially fascinated by the snowy regions (since I'm from Florida)
Way to go Ryotaro!
I think putting Eurobeat songs from Initial D could make your car go faster. But it could be too dangerous...
I guess this might be one of many places for Ryotaro to invite Chris and then assassinate by giving him a lot of delicious food xD
Excellent! Since I will never be allowed to travel anywhere, videos like yours are my only slice of sanity.
Privet would be easier to say, than Zdravstvuyte:) But hello to you as well XD
"So if people come here they can try the taste of Hokkaido?" I don't know why but that seemed so smooth! Ryotaro's good on the spot.
It Would be really cool to see you and chris travel to Aogashima volcano island, especially as i know its on chris's to do list and it seems like a place so few tourists will ever get to visit.
Love the Toei-style intro animation so much! And I'd really love to try those amazing soba noodles now...
Kudos to the cameraman/camerawoman, they did an excellent job filming this one. The shots of the soba being made were perfect as well as the framing for the interview. Also your ability to ask meaningful interview questions and elicit short but sweet responses is fantastic, great video overall. The quality of your stuff is going way up!
In the Netherlands snow just disappeared. Not that it snowed so much before, but man I miss those quiet snow walks. Even if it was just for a couple days. Snow is underrated these days. I like it because it has its own atmosphere, where everything is more quiet and soft and cold
Chris Broad: "I'm going to spend eight years not seeing Mt Fuji because it's covered in clouds".
Ryotaro: "Hold my beer. I have an entire country to not see because it's covered by clouds".
I lost it at bon jovi, best video yet! Also, better than a lot of Chris' stuff. This is the way to go! Special everyday!
Hokkaido is actually the place I'd be put in, when I get accepted by JET. Cool video!
it warms my heart to see chefs who put in all their heart into making the food :')
Risottoro you are KILLING IT with these videos! keep up the great work!
The improvement of each of your videos is remarkable. Keep up the fantastic work. Stay safe Brother.
Best tour guy for Japan 🎉❤️
As a Russian fan, I thoroughly enjoyed your greeting! На здоровье, Риотаро!
That Twin lens tho... in the background.
You've earned a sub!
I have seen all Chris' videos but this Ryotaro's is the first video I watch. Entertaining and really informative
The quality of the video surpasses anything I’ve ever seen. Congrats!
We def need a full karaoke video in the future! Nice video as always man!
I can't wait for Covid to be over and visit all the places you went to on your mission! Keep up the content! Thank you.
Well this was awesome. Hungry for some bouncy noodles now.
Fun video. I want to visit Hokkaido, I like cold and I hate crowds - this place attracts me.
Ryotoro, your short interview with the soba chef and owner of the restaurant was very nice. Even though I don't speak Japanese, I could tell from his enthusiasm that he is very proud of his restaurant. You did a good job of showcasing the food and the chef - congrats!
Came from Chris channel and your great !! Following you now and great sense of humor ! Greetings from Rio de Janeiro !
I have wonderful memories of living in Wakkanai! Fantastically fun, but freezing cold!
Great video!! Also I'm so happy you used the legendary "Justice delicious" phrase!
"DON'T GO! COME BACK! Oh thank you." Am dead.
Great video, yeah the videos are improving much, the humor is getting better.
I want to go to Wakkanai for an overnight visit. I'm going to Japan in January, and the Hokkaido region is on my bucket list.
Thank you Ryotaro for this video. This is exactly what i needed as i will be heading to wakkanai for 3 nights in december 23. i was thinking of what to do with 2 full days in wakkanai then this video came up!!
Good video with lots of character from Ryotaro. He has an interesting personality to watch and this goes well with making up a little 'story arch', construing the videos events into a little adventure, in my opinion. Keep it up
Fun + informative + good production quality = like + subscribe
Even though he was silent, the cinematography was screaming the signature of Chris. And the end on that snow-covered beachy area, is that a reference to the original opening of James May's Japan documentary? Nicely done
The ehehehh @4:30 is a classic. Chris cannot ever imitate that
Wakkanai is a town I've been strangely fascinated with recently. Cool to see you go there.
Soba looks excellent. Very funny video 👏
You gotta love him.
Ryotaro already stole my heart
Had to give you a thumbs up just for the journey. Respect!
I really wanna try this soba now :(
Cheers from Brazil, Risottaro!
ONLY $15??! Definitely added to my Hokkaido itinerary; thanks Ryotaro!
And thx for the good video, I hope one day I can travel to your lovely country it's so nice to see all the videos of Japan .
Yes! Finally! Was hoping either you or Chris go to the northern point its such an interesting place
Another tremendous video!!! Getting better each one 🙏🏻👊🏻👍🏻
Looked "justice delicious" indeed. Enjoyed the karaoke as well lol.
Ryotaro San, your videos keep getting better and better. Congratulations!
I don't love soba, but you made it look so good. Please make the trip again in summer. 🤣😅
Now you need to go south. I wish that more people visited Okinawa. Go even further south than Chris did; ride an ox cart on Taketomi and learn how to sing "Asadoya Yunta" then keep traveling south to Hateruma.
Chris laughing as cameraman made it for me :D
I wish we could Travel again. Definitely adding this to my to visit list when I come to Japan again... hopefully soon.
Damn That is some impressive soba! Would love to try it!
Risotto's one hell of a man! Love this guy!
You should do a "Superior Journey Across Japan" journey series.
OMG Ryotaro's singing. When is the karaoke live stream going to happen?
I know how you feel driving. I did a similar thing driving from Sapporo to Nemuro in order to see the sunrise from Nosappumisaki. The first sunrise on 2020. What high hopes I had for that year....
Brilliant! I loved it! I think you’ve hit your stride; this was quite enjoyable. Thank you!
That trip to the North reminds me of driving through Wyoming and Twin Falls in one day... by myself. I had darude playing for like 2 hours on repeat. Good times.
Ryotaro has evolved beyond the need of a Broad! he has become his complete own thing with his own journey! "an ancient mans trip through Japan" is my new favorite series!
that man and his wife truly love making yummy food. he looks so genuinely happy to discuss it. hes so cute
Hokkaido is one of the places im looking forward to :D i love the cold ^-^ as a redhead i die in anything over 15oc
The last clip Transends time and space for me.
Your editing is getting better and better, this one really tells the story without unnecessarily prolong it, love it!
Northern soba is well worth the trip... and the intermittent bouts of madness 😅
Great video Ryotaro. I especially enjoyed the interview with the elderly man. Great questions.
I would love to watch a series all about Hokkaido I feel like people don’t know as much about it.
You showed us the Samurai training. I'm definitely going there with my friends when we make our trip to Japan. I heard there was a town that specializes in make knives of all kinds. Would you give us your insight of that town? One of my friends wants to buy Japanese wood working tools. Is there, as for the knives, a town or a place that specializes in that? I love to see how precise Japanese wood furniture is made and the tools they use.
"dooon't go doon't go, come back come baack....oh.....thAnk YOU!" 😅😆 best travel presenter ever
