Been waiting for your review of this kit. Keep up the great content man! Absolutely love the no nonsense, straight to the point reviews where it wouldn't consume 20-30 minutes of your time. 💯
Fun fact: the Oltlinde is only in 24 panels of IBO Gekko. Spoilers (tho the manga aint that good): It only appeared once, and the pilot died out of combat in an "accident" after the MS was captured.
I haven't done any videos documenting my painting process, but if you want to know, it's just markers for the smaller details, airbrush for the corrections, and panel lining plus top coat
i knew what it was gonna be a bit off from the promo images, but still ordered it anyway and have it warehoused at a web store rn. still slightly oof to hear those janky things confirmed dunno if you remember talking about the helmwige restock, but i still haven't seen it locally. i even scoured hk and tokyo on a trip, but saw no hints of the entire batch of rumored restock items having existed at all. maybe the one you found for re-review was the last of an older batch, or bandai reprinted extremely scarce amounts of each item lol
It just has one too many blemishes to ignore visually, and the loose shield binder did not help. I do remember talking about the Helmwige restock, and from my photos I got it in February in a Hong Kong store, so I can fully bet by the time you were in Hong Kong, they were all scooped up. Dunno why that kit in particular, or anything that isn't a grunt or Gundam Frame for that matter, but that's how the HK community works
I wish the Oltlinde has its Dainsleif weapon in its kit because when I read that it could use one then that'd be awesome but they just left it as it is in the manga and bandai may or may not make one so we only have the attachments for... customization, I guess.
This is one of the instances where the Calamity War specs will be appreciated, as much as I want it to remain a mystery. At this point, if more sword users show up in the Valkyrja Frame line, it's gonna turn really dull, really quickly
Hmmmmm. And here I am. I'm kinda thinking that if ever I'll collect some Gunpla from the HGIBO line, I would stick to the Valkyrie frames (the Grimgerde, Otlinde, Sigrun, etc.) But...hmmmm...this review may affect my decision.
You know aside from some mishaps with the color correction and even some parts of this kit it doesn't look that Bad from a sideways glance. Although it does look a bit too washed out at points. Still overall not a bad review of another Ib o kit!
Like I said, it would only look irksome if you look into the finer details. It is a good-looking kit otherwise. Also yeah, the white does indeed wash out the surface detail, so panel lining is your bets bet. Thanks for popping by.
Paints used:
Green (Body): Gaianotes Emerald Green, Mr Color Russian Green (1), Mr Color RLM75 Gray Violet
we getting out our jizzin with this one 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥
Yep, getting that to the fullest

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Oh nice job on painting in the grey bits! It looks great with that touch
Thank you very much!
The IBO designs certainly went all out
I just wish they'd show us an origin version of the Oltlinde with its proper loadout
Welcome to Gundam we have:
Allelujah Hapitism
South Burning
Natora Einus
And
*Jizzil Jizzin*
We have weird names galore, names to laugh at

Spoilers (tho the manga aint that good):

Ville ordered to dispose of him before being uncovered by a truth...
It's sad that it didn't get much action in the manga really
How do you go about painting your kits after the initial build/post review? Have you ever done a video or something detailing your painting pipeline?

That intro made me sniggered so hard... XD
It's hard not to make fun of his name
Makes sense.. I even almost spat my yogurt drink laughing for the second time..
Quattro Bajeena
Jamitov Hymen
Natora Einus
Full Frontal
Jizzil Jizzin'
They would make a great rap gang
Gang of Innuendos 😂😂
I get the rest, but why is Quattro here?
@@mj2005gundam Bajeena sounds sus
Hopefully you review the 2nd form of hg hajiroboshi
I will when it gets to me
Do you think the underlaid visor look better or the stickers above the clear part looks better?
The underlaid one looks better as it just makes the clear piece shine
Looking good for reconnaissance/close range. The head remind me of tyrolean hat
I do see some resemblance
Jizil Jizin is such an unfortunate name.
As unfortunate as Natora Einus from AGE
decent colour separation
It is decent, thanks to it not being overly designed to begin with
Hmmmmm.

The Oltlinde is the only outlier of the bunch. The rest are still fantastic kits

First comment for IBO yay!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Btw damn... Another pbandai for a very good kit.
Why Bandai??!WHYYYYYYY!!?
Because Bandai, what can I say?
Imma custom the weapons into a bow and cut off the rear skirt armor
That's a good idea. Finding a way to revert the loadout to its old glory days
