It's because the Jorms. BPs, Hito, and Zhan are level 2 bots. Syntribos, Asbestos, smaragos, are level 3 bots And Astera is a what I call a Level 4 bot which was seen in test your metal 2 years ago where the bosses became VERY unfair lol.
@@StarStruckSolace I think this bot is still the best. It feels "natural" if you get what I mean. Level 1-3 bots are still easily recognizable as bots and are still easy to read. While if you showed this to a new player they'd probably think it's a real person playing. The attacks, combos, cancels, etc are so fluid. It feels like you're fighting against a new player who's already gotten the hang of basic controls. It doesn't just feint 1 or 2 attacks or feint into GB like other bots, it feints multiple times and feints different kinds of attacks. They should add this bot option in AI matches and recommend it to new players. It's definitely going to be good practice.
Warden is still better. With the exception of the feats. Which are just nuxia tier 4 at level 1 and 4 with passives to put them on crack. Soon as the feats are balanced it will just be basically the same fight as any cent warden or hitokiri just late armour on heavy finishes and warlord lights
I believe she says “enough” during bash, “stay here” during undodgeable, “die” during side dodge unblockable, and “enough, sheep” when bash confirms light
A P I took me a few times trying to hear it, yes she doesn’t say it clearly but it is sheep. Also they are Apollyon fan-girls and if you remember Apollyon in the story mode mission where you encounter iron legion deserters she calls the ones that surrendered sheep and kills them, and she allowed the 2 that tried to kill her to live. A part of ubis mischievous plan, they hope that you'll buy steel. And I don't blame em for trying, that new hero even got Mege wet, and it sure as hell got me too.
The few lore bits in the daily quests have been cool. Seems like the remnants of the Blackstone Legion found Astrea after a short while and thought she was like a reincarnation of Apollyon. She seems to really want to continue what Apollyon started in the campaign and wants to stop peace from being achieved. She's basically Kylo Ren if you think about it except cooler. Mechanically and design-wise she's basically what Warden should've been imo. Warden being so Shoulder Bash focused is just boring. The cape is extra style points. Some people will be put off by the edge though.
Street Fighter. Ken, Ryu and Akuma all use the same style of "Shotokan" fighting, but Akuma has fully embraced the "Satsui No Hado" ("Surge of Murderous intent") which makes him super evil and also gives him some different moves.
In general yeah, although there are some missteps as typical with a game series that goes on for that long. Do be warned, these games aren't easy, especially the classic ones.

Btw, Mege, new character's the impale is indeed after a parry (like lawbro) she drags you reeeally far and if she wallsplats you she does a really cool animation where she slices your throat with her claws causing some bleed damage. But all of this occurs super rarely (out of 20 games she did it like once) Oh, and the armor for harbingers is already in-game you could get it during Test Your Metal.

Warmongers are basically the same as Apollyon (which is actually one of them you fight in this mode, however her armor is renewed and clean instead of worn and rusty), they are Wardens with modified Lawbringer armors, and their Fighting Style is that of Apollyon's, a mix of Warden and Lawbringer moves, mixed with a bit of Brawling, Apollyon's Fighting Style is just amazing in many points, but its patterns are recognizable and most of them can be dodged relatively easily if you keep an eye on them
So first feat she coats her weapon in probably the drakenite solution they talked about in the warrior's den yesterday, second feat looks like she gets health back when she hits a person that got infected, third feat looks like she gets a damage boost off of infected people, her fourth feat looks like nuxia's infection but it's a smoke bomb that infects everyone around her and it works differently in that when there are other people then you start taking damage and they take damage as well.
Astrea has this weird riposte she does off of a parry where she does something like apollyons pinning charge into a wall but it does bleed, anyone else had that?
You can cheese the warmongers using Lawbringer, first L means light, and H is heavy. First Aquire lawbringers Judge, jury, and executioner, Shove, L, L or H. And just go from there, just keep redoing it. I have tips for shugo too. When a Round starts, do his hug, top Light, heavy, heavy, and the try his hug again.

It would be really cool if one of her unique feats (maybe level 3) was the Apollyon unblockable sword impale. She's like a fancy Apollyon that has a mix of Warden, Cent, and LB. Definitely a cool design. My only gripe is that as usual, older heroes are slowing becoming obsolete/abandoned. Both mechanic, viability, and popularity wise. (Rip Shinobi, PK, etc)

In italian warmonger is sometimes translated as male (guerrafondai) and sometimes as female (guerrafondaie). It could be a translation error tho

It would be really cool if one of her unique feats (maybe level 3) was the Apollyon unblockable sword impale. She's like a fancy Apollyon that has a mix of Warden, Cent, and LB. Definitely a cool design.
My only gripe is that as usual, older heroes are slowing becoming obsolete/abandoned. Both mechanic, viability, and popularity wise. (Rip Shinobi, PK, etc)
