True i applied mine 2021 april, nobody called or even received a message. I went there for 4 yrs now, the only excuse am told every time is my pp got burnt.

The 84,000 passport are mostly those who have refused or can't afford to bribe. Let someone who has been contacted to come forward and testify why they haven't picked them up.

I appreciate the changes and reforms. However some queries. 1. How come only 50 pages is available? What happened to 34 pages? 2. Also why are minors asked for signatures? 3. Also I paid for 66pages but got 50 pages. 😢 Refund?
Me too upgraded to 50 but still got the 34pages.i need a refund of 1550ksh
My main concern here is when the passport booklets for certain pages e.g the 50 one end,they should make sure that they import them as soonest because other people are really being put in uncalled for situations which cause them to miss various profitable opportunities.
Next Demos should be just for Nyayo House my folks applied for this stuff early last year so as to travel for my graduation abroad let me tell you it took a year plus until they received them this month imagine if people are supposed to travel for medical care since government with all taxes can’t even put Healthcare a priority for her people… no am serious Nyayo House needs to be cleaned and all other centers country wide where corruption is their second name… funny enough as you enter this places you will see banners on the side walks saying (A corruption free zone ) 😏😏😏 pieces of….

It's simply because before this apparently very recent improvement of system, many applicants spent several months camping at Nyayo house due to the deep corruption at every level from the gate. Most went through inhumane treatment from officials - and gave up. So many may need months to recover from the deep trauma they were cruelly subjected to by Nyayo officials.

I applied on September last year ,went to check last week on Wednesday and was told the passport is still on recommendation stage,for 8 months, I've given up on it.
My hubby applied in May last year and got it May this year. These people are all liars... They are doing it intentionally ndiyo wapate kakitu pia

We need some help Embassy of Kenya in Netherlands we are almost one and a half year. We paid our passport. We don’t get our passport. We need somebody to help us we call the embassy of Kenya in the Netherlands. They don’t take our call.

The PR in this government is on another level, PS is just fooling viewers. I did my biometrics Feb this year, it's still in "LOADING ". If the process takes 14days then I would have gotten my passport a long time ago. I had a job offer which I lost because of these burgers,for PS to come on national TV and pull our legs is totally mediocrity. No on time service delivery across many government departments,I also applied for Good conduct/police clearance since January sijapata.
Why can’t we mail the ready documents to the citizens
I don't think a social security number for a citizen (not a temporary resident) of a particular country has an expiry date!! So why is it that the Kenyan one has an expiration date?

Yaani govt mzima inakosa IT specialists wa ku implement a digital passport application process from start to finish?? Where the applicant can keep logging on to monitor their application process which has strict timelines.
I personally did not have a bad experience with my passport application. I applied on March this year and by June this year my passport was out. I didn't have to pay any bribes or encounter any problems. However I have heard from a lot of people including friends who had to offer bribes, some had to wait over a year to have their passports processed.

The department should focus on producing a certain number of passports per hour instead of rating per day. That way the staff will be more efficient.
This process is an easy process, why does someone has to wait for a whole year like I have waited for my passport since last year.

The KENYAN system is still too slow and outdated, I worked with Germany and Turkish İmmigrations, Their systems are well arranged. I believe we can İnstall similar system.

Those outside Kenya are receiving their passport on time. My sister applied for passport in January and hasn't received it. She has been going there to check in vain. On Friday she was told it is in process ing stage.
I did my biometrics 5th september 2023, then upgraded to 50pages in March 2024 and till today my status is stuck at production and not moving

He never talked about the IDs! Imagine those who applied for them in January, its June and they were never provided, what the hell! Traditionally IDs would take 3 weeks, now it's over the roof that full 6 months they're still yet to be provided. Mind you, they are required for HELB & Scholarship applications, really, what's happening?
How I wish this was true, passport in waiting one year plus, upgrades paid in March, status production. There's no report that is analysed.

3years ago I paid 20k ilitoka in one and a half day... and a friend of mine not a kenyan but dropped the citizenship after relocating to the yues in the 80s he come back and have a kenyan pp. A kenyan I'd, driving licenses and he paid 100k to one person and he has all that
