Thanks for the tips doc❤️ my examination schedule is on April 30. But I think doc since online bawal po mauna yung ibang subjects example po biology yung una sa part 2 pero mas bet ko social science kaso sa online pala hindi pede. Need tagala e follow ang sequence ng mga subjects dahil may time limit po🥺
I took my NMAT online last year and was able to skip around to different sections as long as they were within the same part (Part 1 or 2). So, hopefully it will also be the same for you :)
Hi, Sir. Thanks for this video. I would like to ask for your opinion po. Do you think that studying around the CEM practice tests is enough to get a high PR? I dont have much time to study deeper since I am working full time. Thank you in advance!
Hi! While I believe the CEM practice test is a great resource to use while studying for the NMAT because it is the most similar to the actual NMAT exam, it is hard to say whether or not it is "enough" because I'm not sure of your academic background. For example, if you are strong already in all the subjects, then yes the CEM practice test is enough, but if, for example, you know nothing about chemistry or physics, then I would say no the CEM practice test is not enough.
I would study things like adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing fractions, laws of exponents, factorials, probability, sin/cos/tan, area, volume, imaginary numbers, quadratic formula, FOIL method, simplifying equations This is not an exhaustive list, however, it should give you a good idea of where to start.
As soon as I started the section on inductive reasoning (number/letter series), that's when I wrote the alphabet. Di kasi kailangan ng alpha/number sa figure groupings.
Hindi naman totally empty. But your desk and immediate surroundings should be free from papers and books as much as possible so that you won't be mistaken for cheating. No one else should be in the room except for you. Best of luck!
Hi! How did you get access to center for educational measurement nmat practice questions. I live in the US and plan on taking the NMAT this upcoming cycle?
Hi, there! A few days before your scheduled exam they will send you a practice test along with the link for the Safe Exam Browser to give you time to become familiar with using it. You can also send me a message on FB if you have other questions!
@@akashsingh-hi8os Unfortunately not. However, you can find me on Facebook and send me a message there. We can talk more about NMAT review materials if you would like.
This was really helpful po :) I’ll be taking NMAT this May and I’m really nervous kasi I have limited time since daming schoolwork kapag graduating. Question lang po, do we need a wired/wireless mouse during the test, or ok lang po na touchpad lang talaga ang gamit if naka laptop?
As far as I know, touchpad/trackpad is fine as long as it is functional :) That's what I used when I took my NMAT. Best of luck to you and your future goals!!

Hello Doc can you list down the starting question numbers of each subtest in both parts? like for example you said in part 2 biology is question #1 & social science is question #61.
@@IMGeeetag Thanks Doc, by the way Doc how many hours a day is it recommended to study for the NMAT, (assuming we have a month) what's your suggestion?
@@hashiramasayan162 It depends on how well you already know the material. For example, if you are doing well in biology, you don't really need to study biology. 1-3 hours/daily on the weekdays (if you're still in school), and then maybe 3-5 hours/daily on the weekends I think is sufficient. Focus more on the quality (am I actually learning?) of your studying vs. the quantity (how many hours did I study today?)
Doc! I just want to ask if during online NMAT po, totoo po ba na allowed po kami to choose a specific subtest? For e.g. sa Part 1. Sa halip po na Verbal ang unahin P.A na muna and if that's possible po ano po ang specific technique na ginawa ninyo during NMAT? Thank you in advance!
When I took the exam in May 2021, we were allowed to choose specific subtests. So yung technique ko noon, I did the visual acuity and inductive reasoning first, then reading comprehension, and then quantitative last kasi it takes a lot of time to compute tapos mahina ako sa math haha. I hope that its still the same way ngayon. 😃
Hi! As long as it's not too big or not too small. Medium size lang so it is still comfortable to use. Yes, you can use a separate eraser or a marker na may eraser na.
Hi! Sorry, I don't have a specific study checklist. But I think when you start doing practice questions, you'll see the types of information you will need to study. hi doc, question langp po for inductive reasoning, okay lang ba ndi burahin sa white board yung alpabet at numbers? sabi po kasi each question burahin yung asa white board. nagguguluhan po ako. thank you
In my experience, I was able to leave the alphabet sa white board for every question. I'm not sure if they changed the rule, but last year, I did not have a problem with that.
Doc, may I ask if hindi naman mahirap yung pagpili ng uunahing subtest? Is it okay po ba or are there possibilities na may ma miss na item? Automatic naka save na din po ba yung answer kahit you started from the last part ng Part 1? Sorry medyo madaming tanong doc. Thank you in advance!
Oo, once you choose an answer, you can save it then go back to it later if ever. However for me, Once I started a section, I finished it so that there was no chance of me missing a question. So if I started with perceptual acuity, I finished all of perceptual acuity. If a question was taking me too long, I just guessed and moved on to the next question. That way, I didn't miss any questions. I think a few days before your NMAT, you will be given a chance to try the secure exam browser with some practice questions so you can practice and see how it works.
Thank you for this tips. I only have 1month left to take the nmat and I was so worried. Manifesting a 90+ pr cutiieee.

Can you give me some of your test questions for me to practice just like you with 800 questions... Please...
Thanks for these valuable tips you shared Doc💯🫰🫰🫰

like for example you said in part 2 biology is question #1 & social science is question #61.
There are 240 questions total in the NMAT split between 8 subjects. So, there should be about 30 questions for each subject 😃
