Always such wonderful setups . I try to get mine as close as I can but u having the natural ground and plant life right outside ur door is amazing . My props to how well you treat your spiders . Most peeps toss them in jars and breed them like rabbits but you sir love what ya do .. I wanna ty for me finding your page. You and tarantula collective are by far the best out there darkest den as well . You all are amazing and I’m glad I got into the hobby and love of beasties:)
Wow, I'm so envious, I would love to keep this species. She's absolutely stunning and thank you so much for sharing, you have such great taste in tarantulas it seems!
The community of giant spiny Assasin bugs looks great and the effect you get watching them feed is fantastic More is better Methinks They are so groovy looking and the way they jump on each other In some feeding ruck Just great to watch MORE PLEASE
i do not know about the spider but i cuud olive in thair myyselfe its how you make things look so simple thatshow youre dedication and made a loyal fan out of someone who has been terified of spiders all my life
I’m brand new to keeping tarantulas. I’ve been watching and keeping track of 4 wild Aphonopelma hentzi around my home in the desert of New Mexico, USA. I was very afraid of them but over time I fell in love and had to have some in my home to watch as well. Your RUclips channel has been a breath of fresh air! I’m hoping your calmness will rub off on me and I’ll be more comfortable with these amazing spiders. Thank you!!
I only recently got into the hobby. Mainly because my 5 year old daughter started showing a huge interest in tarantulas. We got a female GBB. Sold as a 3cm body and her legs span by my rough measurements is between 2.5 and 3 inches. She is gorgeous and very bold in terms of exploring. I unfortunately had to re house her within a week due to ants in a cork bark piece. Took her a week or so to start showing she was happy again but she has since webbed it to the hilt. Ps Dave just seems a top bloke
These spiders are so lucky to have you to look after them, Dave! You are exceptional with your care and knowledge on these guys and Gals. I have never had a spider/tarantula as a pet and have always been afraid of them, but after watching your videos, I have a new found respect for them. I used to not think twice about killing the occasional spider I would find in my house. But now, I always relocate them outside instead. Unfortunately they are highly misunderstood creatures and have a bad rep Bc of it. Thanks to you and others like you, people like me are getting more educated!
I've always been afraid of spiders. But watching your videos I now think they are interesting. Not that I'm ready to have any. But I do like watching yours.
Another fantastic caring rehoming dave. Your love and passion for these beautiful under understood animals are an inspiration. Keep up the amazing work . Spider love from West Yorkshire
Dave this is quite possibly the most beautiful enclosure and spider pairing I have ever seen. You really are a master at what you do.. absolutely 💯stunning 😍
again PROFF an amazing looking home for a very beautiful spider, love all the information that you do as well.--camera lady thank you --thanks for sharing
Really enjoy this very interesting channel - I think people who are scared of spiders should watch this because just watching them go about their lives and the way you handle them would 'de-mystify' them for people. I was never comfortable with spiders but in my years as an illustrator I had to draw a white-tailed spider from a live specimen, and after working with it for three days I felt much more comfortable with spiders.
Can confirm. T’s have never triggered my arachnophobia the way other spiders do, and I used to care for one when I did wildlife rehab/rescue, but I’ve been watching Dave and Camera Lady for about two months now and have gone from “keep it over there” to actively wanting a tarantula myself. I’m completely over fear of them and find them so interesting! …I don’t see myself ever getting into “spiders with the pointy legs,” but I do professional work with them, and Dave has certainly made a huge impression in that work. (And speaking of, happy holidays and merry Christmas if you celebrate, Dave and Camera Lady. Wishing you nothing but the best, and hope you both know how much you are valued in this weird corner of the internet. ❤️)
What a beautiful enclosure! Well done kind sir! I can imagine I would be very happy living in there! Your creations are functional, well thought out, and lovely to look upon!
Really enjoyed this video, both you and the cameralady really project that calm appreciation that gives this community a very need atmosphere. Beautiful enclosure and spood! Can't wait to see these bio-actives in 6 months! Just need yourself a black felt on that right wall, or some other dark background to clear up that glare mate.
@@daveslittlebeastiesI think the map is A ok. I'm mostly noticing it at around 31:07. Of course you'll never be rid of it all. I dont really want to nitpick, but as long as ya replied, the table itself is a mite reflective. More of an eggshell sheen instead of a full flat. Since the camera angle is pointed downwards alot of the time, the table can be seen. Probably is light from the ceiling area. Of course you could always tone down how well you clean your glass! Haha
Did you see how excited that girl was to have her fresh new enclosure? She was trying to check out everything at once. She was really acting like me when we were moving into our first house. That turned out to be an especially beautiful enclosure, Dave. Great job!
Hey Dave. Thanks for your videos, very interesting stuff. I just got myself a couple of chromatopelma cyaneopubescens subadults. What wonderful specimens! Just on a quick note: Sabah - where the name of this spidey comes from - is a Malaysian state. Not part of Indonesia. My girlfriend who's from there steamed up upon hearing "Indonesia" in that case. (Usually she quite likes her Southern neighbours.) Looking forward to seeing more of this spider. Its colours are just incredible! Feeding a big prey in another video? Cheers!
Thank you Dave you do so much to get people to understand the tarantulas how to take care of them how to feed them thank you so much take care and be safe my friend
Hey Dave! I originally realized this yesterday but I got quite busy so I’ll tell you now! When you posted this on April 12th 2021, the channel had turned 1 year old! On that day in 2020, you had posted your first video on RUclips! Congratulations Dave! You are fast approaching 5K subscribers! I’m very happy to call myself one of them! Cheers Dave!
She is a stunner! I'm going to take a screenshot of the opening frame of her. Beautiful blues and markings. Dave, you have an incredible flair for designing these enclosures. I have a great love of gardening, landscaping and really appreciate your work. You could easily design arboretum and such. I wish I had known what I loved when I was young and had gone to school for things like botany/biology etc. I'd love working in a botanical garden, or creating arboretum s and landscapes. I truly admire your craft. If anyone told me a year ago that I'd be sitting captivated watching tarantulas for hours on end I would have told them they were insane. I thought Camera Lady was making an appearance. Perhaps she was in one of the reflections. I can't catch the screenshot. Its a flash before the name of the channel appears😔
I'm gonna try get a good shot too with my phone!! Great idea thanks🙏 😊 coz you can't show everyone RUclips videos when u talking to them. But a photo is good idea 💡
You the only one that doesn't handle your spider's. But you have the most well behaved and beautiful spiders. The people that handle them. Tend to have very nervous spiders that don't live long. Your catch cup idea is now being used all over. Its a great idea.
I've watched a few videos from different people but yours are definitely the best 🥉 You don't talk too much and what you do say is necessary and very interesting . You're a Topman. A big Hello! to your camera woman. 👍😊 PS what title would you have ? a spider lover?

Yeah, finally! 😄👏🏻👏🏻
I just started. That will be nice to meet Camera Lady. She does such incredible work.
What a beautiful and even-tempered spider. No threat postures even when you were pulling her home off her, piece by piece. Wonderful girl.
Ahh, the delicate art of spider gardening.
I love watching you make up these cozy homes for your spiders! It’s gardening and nesting and creating all in one. Lovely work!
