does look better, agree, but could have been better, it's like it has been designed from left over funds for VB. and if you notice properly the finishing is not that good, too many gaps in panels which is signature of IR's production unit coaches

@@cascadeum1 yes, mostly because icf one has cow catcher at bottom and they have tried to design it like a metro, icf one has similar shape as beml Delhi driverless metro

@@bhartipanwar66 I've heard this entire "Private sector ko dedo" philosophy so many times, I wonder if you guys have ever bothered to look up on how little R&D private sector does in India. Private sector ko tum sab kuch de do and even then their own design efforts will 99% of the times involve some foreign company Joint Venture.
Ab bolo Public vs Private competition is good. Then I'll ask what will competition get you? It can get you a better price on the train contract through competitive bidding. But it won't get you a more aesthetic design. Why? Because the criteria for selection is either technical or financial. Aesthetics are subjective and therefore can't be a criteria in government projects. So after all that, you'll be back to square 1.
Agar koi suggestion dena hi hai, then stop being lazy about it. Actually think what solution can lead to India making beautiful products in general or beautiful trains in particular. This "private sector ko dedo" is the laziest kind of commentary that Indian public spouts.
The front is looking ugly because they have not yet attached the cattle guard I guess.....

The color of the livery is quite dashing, looks different from contemporary metros presently being produced in India. But I liked it overall. Great job India👍🏼

How can railway expect to pay higher ticket (considering AC metro) and travel by standing. Case of AC emu and regular metros are different since we don’t travel that long. Still don’t understand where this train going to fit

True it is in fact badsurat. Our taxes pay for these rakes, but always our aesthetics are subpar. The front face of rakes of our metro systems in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune look so pleasing. The front is an eyesore and babus should be held accountable for not meeting the render's designs.

No use both Railways & people won't maintain it. People will be using the train like dust bin, spitting guthka & what not. And railways never cleaning the train interior or exterior thoroughly or is well maintained.

The front face of the Vande Metro looks like it was adopted and refurbished ne from the 90's and the front wheels of the vande metro are not perfectly aligned at all 😖😖
