I remember when youtubers didn't expect to make a living off being a youtuber and posted quality content relevant to their hobbies in their free time because it was their passion that was truly a better time for all. I do not get if they love doing this but are not making as much money, than get a normal job and just post less frequently or get a patreon, maybe don't live as extravagantly or something like that. I know Bashur to a point personally. The stuff keemstar said was actually a lie. There was only one incident that start it all which bashur explained in a video. Also he did upload videos a month or so back but shortly after removed them. He was doing a overwatch series as junkrat and he also was using patron so he could talk to his fans. I want to also mention all the money earned on patron was never used. Everyone I know of was given their money back after bashur said he did earn it. But currently he said he is taking a break to think things out but will return in the future.

I remember when youtubers didn't expect to make a living off being a youtuber and posted quality content relevant to their hobbies in their free time because it was their passion that was truly a better time for all. I do not get if they love doing this but are not making as much money, than get a normal job and just post less frequently or get a patreon, maybe don't live as extravagantly or something like that. The fact that some of these internet "famous" people are disappearing entirely even on other social media (or mentioning in their videos or even dedicating whole videos about their loss of revenue) shows they were just in it for the money and not for expressing themselves or the fans.

It's waaaay different for the minecraft guy. It's one thing to get hate from other youtubers, but from what he said in this video I take it that it was starting to affect his irl life with people calling him out. It really sucks too, because it's possible he was falsely charged.
There's a huge difference between us (having maybe 3-5 haters) and RUclips creators or celebreties in general (usually a couple 1000 haters)
the thing is, we're all human, depending on our personalities, the amount of hate we can take is the same. So if you are a softie, or someone who isn't the type of person to take part in conflicts, that kind of hate will very quickly destroy you.
And sadly, there's no "training phase" for it. Especially if your channel grows quickly.
