It’s written like a battle rap, it’s all penned out. This was around the time when KOTD (King of the Dot) were putting out legendary battles, it’s a long story but there was so much hype at that time if anyone knows. There’s references in rap god about it. So em kept putting out battle rap style freestyles for a while, he even created a one off league and a movie called Bodied.

I agree with Van. It’s too clean and there’s no time for him to think of what to say next the way he’s riding the beat. He probably made most of it previously and just threw in some references to the people around him to make it seem more authentic. But he’s still galaxies beyond his nearest competitor in my opinion!

I think this is classic old-school Eminem. He had a bunch of bars lined up any word from all in together but you can tell that some of it is off the top with the transitions. Just masterfully done. And you can tell that even if you think you have some shit written down or you have it in your bank, it's still pretty risky like you're just throwing shit out there and everything he saying it's just pretty cool

Dude is Mr.Porter, AKA Denaun. He grew up with Em. In I think leaving Heaven is where he talks about him and Denaun scraping change out of sofa’s hoping they would find .25 cents to share a bag of chips. And how they’d do back flips if they did get chips to eat for dinner. Which is one of the saddest things I’ve ever heard. People don’t understand the depths of hell Em’s childhood was. And Denaun and Proof were all he had. Proof gave him Nikes off his own feet for school so he wouldn’t be made fun of for his shoes. They held him down. He was regularly in fights with both black and white people bc of him being white but identifying more with black culture in music and the way he dressed.
