I bought one of these a couple of months ago. I'm an old guy that's had a lot of guitars. This is seriously the best guitar I've ever had. Absolutely unbelievable especially for the money.
That's the best sounding sb59v I've heard - must be the bare knuckles - love the fuller fat sound - it talks, sings, sustains and captures the wood too! They've brought out the balls in the guitar. Outstanding!
I have this guitar with the Lollars in it. I absolutely love the Lollars, and would never consider switching them out. But those Bare Knuckles? Wow! I may need to buy a 2nd SB! Thank you for the excellent review.
I actually had this guitar with Bare knuckles and ended up switching them to Lollars because I wanted to do out of phase stuff. The Bare Knuckles are FAN.TAS.TIC and the Imperials are too. Both are extremely similar. I wouldnt get another guitar just for the Bare Knuckles, both pick ups are like twin brothers
Good review. Great guitar. Beautiful and sounds good. I am sending it back only because I realised LP style guitars are not for me. Not comfortable enough on my ribs and back. I got used to comfy light superstrats with belly cuts etc. However, it is amazing for someone who likes LP guitars. Better than Gibson LP Standards I've tried.
Get some of the Lollar imperials that were custom wound for that guitar and you will be amazed! Truly authentic PAF tone as it gets.. Those "Barnacle?¿?'" pickups are a bit harsh in tone.. l bought this guitar back in 18.. l think it's a 17 but the finish on your is sooo much more polished..it's beautiful! My SB seems a lil more ...old? Def not so shiney.. The mojo these Solid Body 59s possess is like no other guitar lve ever played.. well put! Nice playing as usual..

The guitar has a lot of tonal character… Kind of blows my mind. I think it’s Eastman all the way.
Nice finish. Looking forward for more affordable guitar review
It sounds like a tele, so it sounds right. 👌
Which Amp did you use ??
