    Initially, a New York court ruled that Sneha's date of death was September 10. Therefore, she was not listed as a victim of the 9/11 attacks. In 2004, her name was removed from the list of 9/11 missing. NYPD investigators had found evidence that suggested she was living a double life. She and Ron were apparently having marital problems and she may have been having affairs with other women. The last time he saw her was when they fought outside a courthouse, where she had pleaded not guilty to filing a false complaint against a colleague.
    Sneha also had apparent drug and alcohol issues, along with legal problems. This led investigators to believe that she had left to start a new life. However, her family refused to believe this. No evidence was found on her devices to suggest that she was planning to start a new life. They also claim that much of the "evidence" uncovered by the police was incorrect.
    In 2008, the decision by the New York court was overturned. The court dismissed the "double life" claims in the police report. They rejected the claims that she was abusing drugs and alcohol, noting that those sources were not credible. The court also determined that Sneha most likely died helping injured people at the World Trade Center. She is now listed as a victim of the 9/11 attacks. Ron and her family consider this ruling a great comfort. They have accepted that she most likely died during the attacks. Sadly, her remains have never been found.

      Cody Beloit *Racist??* Nay. First off, Judaism is a religion NOT a race so that makes me *Bigoted* not racist. Secondly that was a joke but based entirely on personal experience. I don't need to stereotype. I'm from NYC and grew up with Jews all my life who would not only find that humorous but agree that Jewish people give great importance to money matters and the financial security of their families. Perhaps it was in bad taste but I assure you intentionally written to incite a response: "trolling" if you must use labels.

    • @bloodyneptune
      @bloodyneptune 7 лет назад +1

      I highly doubt you have any close relationships with Jewish people if you somehow don't understand its an ethnoreligious group. Of course, I am talking to a grownass person who just used "nay" unironically, so..

    Wow: a 9/11 story! These are the most current, up-to-date cases I've seen on the Farina show, and that may be the FIRST one that I definitively know comes from after the show's network run with Robert Stack!

    • @hatednyc
      @hatednyc 7 лет назад +4

      Nick Hentschel Here's the trick - any segment shown in widescreen comes from the later runs of the show. Not so sure about the reboot in the late 90's early 00's but the new Farina segments are definitely in widescreen aspect ratio.

      The last new episodes were, indeed, produced in 1998. Some time between then, and the relaunch of the show in 2007 with Dennis Farina, is when that story happened.

      here is a list of the history of Unsolved Mysteries.
      Robert Stack era
      1: NBC (1987-1997)
      2: CBS (1997-1999)
      3: Lifetime (2001-2002)
      Robert Stack passed away in 2003.
      Dennis Farina era.
      4: Spike TV (2008-2010)
      chances are the 9/ 11 story may have been shown on Robert Stacks show he was still host when 9/ 11 happen......
      or you could be right and it is a rare NEW story on the Dennis Farina version of Unsolved Mysteries......... the majority of the updated show is repeats of the Robert Stacks era.
      if the 9/ 11 story is new then that is amazing and would be the first if only new story they shown on the updated show.
      Info I found on the updated show.... was fans were not happy they never showed brand new stories.
      " This repackaged series run was criticized by loyal fans for its presentation of past cases only, with no new cases being produced.
      Segments were edited to be shorter so the show could be expanded to present five segments in an hour rather than the four of the original series. As no new segments were produced, the host did not reference
      the years in which the segments presented originally aired. When updates for solved cases aired, Dennis Farina's voiceover would refer to cases "in a recent broadcast...", when the case may have already been solved during the show's original NBC run or during the series' hiatus from 2003-2007. "
