    Most of the time ( not all) if you fall for a scam, its generally your own greed that got you there

    Normally I don't really care to watch the ones that involves people searching for loved ones but the last story always makes me feel good. I like this episode a lot.

    As soon as a "psychic" starts asking for large sums of money, a huge red flag should be seen by anyone who believes in people like that.

    Theirs so many easy targets out there, 150k to a phychic is insanity, if you can't figure out a scam is happening before you get 150k deep you need help.

    Zeilger is the second person this show was able to interview in prison, the other being Thomas Drake, who by coincidence was also in this season. The murders happened almost five decades ago and he remains in prison going back and forth on death row. It shows how slow the judicial system is. The gypsy fraud case is the first in the show where a statute of limitations apply to a case. Authorities are keeping a careful eye on Ann, however, thinking she may commit more fraud.

    Seriously though, I have to roll my eyes every time someone says"and they still maintain their innocence " or some such. What do they expect them to say? "It was me. I did it?" Of course they're going to deny it

    • @troyrussell177
      @troyrussell177 3 года назад +6

      A lot on death row, who are guilty do end up confessing. If you murdered someone and are proclaiming innocence what do you have to gain from lying until death? What you do have to gain as the time of your death ticks nearer, is closure. Look up the long list of killers who proclaimed innocence until they final broke down and admitted to the truth, gave investigators locations of the victims body, or other unknown victims. Its a long list. They have a lot to gain from coming clean. Prison transfers, special request, luxuries they have no right to. Not a lot to lose if they admit to what they've done. A small number of people have a mother who swears they're innocent that they dont want to let down, others are sociopaths and don't care about the material upsides of coming clean. Not too many people proclaim innocence for 30 or 40 years. The majority of those who did were later exonerated. You know how many people have been wrongly convicted of murder? A scary number. A number that makes our " justice system " a farce.

    My theory about the Comedy Store Basement Ghost: it's likely the essence of the evils committed by the Mafia when they ran the club, likely their hit men and enforcers who used the basement as a place to kill and mame those who got on their bad side

    That prosecutor should be put in prison.. how could you look at that evidence and think that man is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.. the. On top of it when there’s very significant new witness testimony brought forward about the time of gun shots going off in relation to when police where there ect.. which completely contradicts the states timeline and theory he has the nerve to say that the testimony is meaningless…? Like if that meaningless to you. That only proves that you don’t care about evidence and getting to the truth of what really happened. You only care about the conviction of that one man regardless of what the truth is. He should be fired and disbarred.. and all his other cases should be put up for review by a higher court.
