Amazing video I can tell that it was done professionally. may your marriage continue to include Jehovah, in these last days a marriage without him is bound to fail. greetings from your brothers in Belize
Lawi Chacon I just wanted to say with all due respect, that your comment does not reflect everyone. My husband is one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I am not. He was born into what you refer to as the truth. He has always been active. We have been married 47 years. We have three children and four grandchildren. We support him and he supports us. We respect his beliefs and he respects our right to choose not to be a JW. That doesn't mean he doesn't hope we will change, but the fact of the matter is we will not adopt his beliefs. I've known many JWs over our 47 years of marriage, some marrying around the time we did and their marriages were abandoned. I'm not pointing to examples of a few people as JWs but more than one would expect. So just because you marry as JWs does not afford you blessings. The truth of the matter is, one must respect first, and have a deep love for family. Yes, we have had serious problems. I'm sure he prayed. However, I used my sense of justice and logic and of course love. That allowed me to take action and resolve issues. No doubt you will say it was Jehovah that kept it together. However I was not bound to your bible principles. I am not submisive, and am a very strong and intelligent independent woman. Sometimes I took the lead and made a decision on my own and he at the end he had to recognize I was in the right for doing so. What ever he is gifted at I followed. What I am gifted at....well let's just say at the end of a struggle he would acknowledge that the outcome was best. Maybe not immediately, but at a later time. So while I respect your point of view based on why YOU believe it, your view point is not the only successful way to live. There are many marriages like mine. They are very successful marriages even if you don't think that is possible. I just thought I would put that out there. Additionally, our children did not fall into that JW expectation that all would go bad for them. In fact my two daughter's have only been married to one man each over 20 yrs. As I said they are not JWs. All have gone to college and my grandchildren are high achievers. I know you don't think much of their success story. My daughters have had their tribulations, dealing with those problems much like their mother. You don't think we have a future, however we are prepared for one and will roll with what ever we have to deal with. I and my children are not afraid of the future...not as my husband is. He is still looking for that future you believe in and we respect that. We even encourage his hope. No matter what, we will be here in the present for him with our love, logic and our strong family values. Thanks for reading.
