I realised at the end that I've watched you guys rebuild two shocks now, all the way through. Good clear instructions. Thank you for these videos and for demystifying motorcycle maintenance/rehab.

We try to make detailed videos without unnecessary inserts but they still have almost 20 minutes...
Thanks for the comment that someone is able to view the whole thing :D

    God bless you for sharing.
I might need to repair/upgrade mine.
I'll save this video, wait for the wallet to become bigger and a sunny day.

Perfect :) the right way to do it. Use SRAM butter as a Grease for mounting it s even better :) i service a lot with a lot of success. I would just fill it with nitrogen. It would get little warm with air. Nitro is a cold gas that won t expend under pressure and load

Thanks for the tip with SRAM butter. I'll check it.
Also I've built nitrogen charging station and use it now :)

Thank you! I didn't realize the rubber bump stop snapped on like that ... mine has a big ass washer underneath it and it just bounces around since I never snapped it in place ... I thought I screwed everything up and now I don't have to take apart again like I thought! Thanks again, you just saved me a lot of work!

      You are welcome :)
After first bigger bump on the road bump stop will be in right place :D
Sometimes bump stop is wear out at the bottom and you can't snap it on.

Question please,🙏 is same on Honda Africa rd04 750 or different?
    Thanks 😊

    • @DawidMartasMotoAdventures
      @DawidMartasMotoAdventures  2 года назад +2

RD03 is very similar to RD04.
RD07 is very similar to RD07A.
But there is big difference between RD03/RD04 and RD07/RD07A.

Great information. Do you know the length of the fork ( middle of top, attachment point to middle of bottom) and spring rate. Is it also possible to make the hose between shock and rebound chamber longer?

Congratulations for the excellent video. Would you please tell me where did you buy the full repair kit? And what kind of gas you're using? Air? Nitrogen? Thanks in advance.

      Thanks! :)
Repair kit is available at: facebook.com/pg/DMMotoADVentures/shop
Now I'm using a bicycle shock absorber pump with no loss chuck. In the meantime I'm preparing nitrogen charge station for shock absorbers.

Witam.

      Hi!
CRB shock absorber looks a little different (there is rebound adjuster, total travel is shorter).
I never tested this kit with other bikes.
