Gary, that was a masterpiece! The finished product is outstanding. The Neverending Story was one of my childhood favorite tales. And placing the Auryn in final water scene, priceless.
I love your content man. Was pumped to discover you had your own channel when I was catching you guys on the pop culture breakdown. Fascinating vids. Keep them coming (at your own pace).
I don't think I realized it was based on The Midgard Serpent or like Jormungandr or how spell it. Reminds me a bit of this Viking Wolf Necklace I have too. You probably would know how to make the Games Workshop Figures heh. I wish I was able to do that kinda stuff ;). I'm lucky if I can make a prop using tinfoil :). I like metal over plastic or like everything is that or resin or how spell it. I like the older miniatures even if they had lead in them :). I"m surprised you don't have more subscribers on here ;). Makes me feel better as I'm not making anything like that or so :). You got more likes on this than I have in over 2 months :). Better ratio than most people I see on here ;). Pete used to make the replicas of Space Hulk Terminators from scratch and molds ;).
I’m not sure, but this was one of the hardest props to paint. I had to create a custom stencil to get it just right. I will do a short on the TNG Comm badges some day soon.
That’s cool. Makes me want to go out and make something. 👍
Yes I’m also going to need one of these 😊

I'd love to be able to get a silicone mould of that, looks awesome and that film was my favourite as a kid (still is and I'm now in my 40's)
It came from one of the two screen used books from the film. Someone was smart enough to pour some silicone on the Auryn and I ended up with it.
Great job dude.
Impressive ! ( P.S. , have you ever considered a career in the movies )

Wowo
Were the TNG communicators painted silver/gold using the same technique?
