I don't use the ink pads - I have no doubt that mine would dry as I don't see me using them often. Th Amazon paper is so difficult to work with (with so many different mediums!), but you saved the background with that gold. It is a cute page!

Thanks so much for your kind comment. I’m going to try using a gesso or watercolor ground on that paper and see how that works

I appreciate that you share the trouble you had. I haven't ever used those distress inks, so unfortunately can't help you. I enjoyed the video and the page turned out great in the end.

I use ink stamps for backgrounds, but not distress inks. For now, they are not drying fast at all. Also, I bought one of Sherrie's books but I didn't like this caricatures style of drawings. I like what you've done with the page though, really nice.
