I am passionate about adult coloring, watercolor, doodling and finding out about new art supplies
You will find reviews, subscription box unboxings, color alongs where I try to help and explain my process as well as color and chat videos where I try to also speak about something uplifting.
You are welcome to ask for advice on your coloring and I will help whenever I am able.
I am completely self taught and still learning about all aspects of art myself, but want to encourage everyone to this relaxing and mindful journey.
Occasionally I will attempt to draw or try my hand at other art endeavours. This should prove somewhat amusing as I am trying to learn as I go.
If you would like to support my channel, please use the following link and accept my sincere gratitude:

Love your book ❤
Thanks so much
I would like to see what you have cut out.
Thanks for watching, I am sorry that I’ve already used the cut out things. This video went live 8 months ago.
Thanj you. I am starting to use guache in my coloring.
That's wonderful! I hope you enjoy it!
I really like the idea to use one side to practice elements of the painting and the other side to do the actual painting. Learned something nice.
Thanks for your kind comment. I don’t always do this, but it does help when i do so. Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️
Impressive achievement-congratulations!
@@recreepy thanks very much
Thanks Liz I'd like to go & check it out, the PnA store. Great job 🙌
You're welcome, they have many more products in since I made this video four years ago. I should do an update lol.
Where did you find the pigment numbers
@@wendyburton5029 Hi Wendy, they are on the little wrappers. I really struggled to see them, so took photos with my IPhone and then I could enlarge. I have a photo of all of them on a sheet which I am happy to share with you if you need it.
@ I see they are on sale and it seems a reasonable price I currently am using Daniel smith tubes which I really like just curious if they are worth spending the money on. I’d love a snap shot of your sheet thank you.
@@wendyburton5029 I am not able to upload a pic here, so will happily email it to you. If you email me at lzbthwrght6@gmail.com and ask, I will send it via email. I just want to say that I think the Daniel Smith paints are better. I like these, but I don't like that I don't know which brand they are, so I can't check up on anything. They are fun to paint with and I loved having the same brush and paint as Emma, when doing the lessons in the sub boxes, so it was worth it for me, and I love having the set, but just wanted to say I think the DS are most likely of better quality, but I am not an expert at ALL.
This absolutely made my day! I only just found the 'mentions' tab on my RUclips studio, so just catching up. What beautiful postcards - I'm so glad you enjoyed fussy cutting and sorting through the images from my Afternoon Tea book! It makes me so happy to see videos of people using my books for crafting projects - after all, that's why I make them. I hope you had a wonderful couple of weeks with your grandchildren and a great Christmas too. Thank you so much for sharing, and HAPPY CRAFTING!! Love Keely. 💕
Thanks so much Keely. Yes I had a wonderful Christmas and the two weeks with the grandchildren went way better than expected, no tears at all. I was so happy. I was exhausted but loved every minute. Since then I've had my son visit from Germany and the entire extended family for Christmas eve dinner, so it's been a busy time, with very little time available to crafting, and none for YouTubing. I hope to get back into it all in the New Year. I hope your Christmas was also wonderful. I love your books and would buy them all, if only our Amazon in South africa did the KDP printing here. As it is, we still have to import all kdp books from somewhere else, so that makes them mostly above my budget. Still I am very happy with what I have and love it all.
@@LizatHome So glad you had a lovely time over the festive season Liz, it sounds really wonderful. I've just seen my son off at the tube station as he heads back up north - it was lovely to spend time with him for a couple of days - it goes far too quickly! I haven't had time for any Youtubing over the last couple of weeks but really hoping to get back into it soon, as well as finishing off some more cut and collage books that I want to get published. Here's hoping 2025 is a great year for both of us finding time to craft and enjoy being creative! 😁✂🖌🌺🌼
Your videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Can I talk with you Liz At Home?
Thanks for subbing and the kind comment.

Beautiful finished pages! The butterfly page from karolina kubikowskas book was my favorite for the month!!
Oh thank you! That’s really kind. I love that book and need to color more in that
So pretty❤
Thanks so much 🥰🌸
Love the pages you did. So cool 😎
Thanks so much x
Hello😊...4 years later ...are you still active? I so enjoy your videos and your little chat group❤
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. I do still make some videos, but life has become really busy lately and as I don’t get enough views or likes to make doing RUclips a way to support myself, I made the decision to stop feeling the pressure of making regular videos, and only do them when I’m able to without causing myself too much stress. I hope you can understand.
Wow
Hi Liz. Can you share a screen shot of the paint swatching you did front and back? I wish I'd done that as well. I'm new to painting. Appreciate your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, I will do so soon as I’m able to get to it.
I've seen your color pages and was curious where do you get your ideas from. You seem to use quite a bit of different art mediums to color. Maybe you could make a video explaining where you get your ideas, also such as any Facebook or art groups you are in. I think viewers would find it interesting.
Thanks that’s a great idea for a video. I belong to various FB groups, trawl through IG love You Tube, and Pinterest and also find loads of inspiration on Skillshare which I have belonged to for years. I find it so well worth the cost. If you want a link for a month free trial, just ask and I’ll share with love.
I find it very interesting to see watercolor pages because you get to see something completely original. I liked the witch and butterfly color book pages too.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you watched and took the trouble to comment, much appreciated 🌸
How many grandchildren do you have and their ages?
@@hjs1689 hi there, I have 6 Grandsons, no granddaughters. The youngest is nearly 4 and the oldest is 14

Thanks so much 😊 Gosh I should remember that you’re all also in the Southern Hemisphere as well! Don’t you also find it super difficult that so many in the art community are in the opposite season to you?
Very nice ATC's! Happy Halloween!
Thanks so much 🎃
Loved this, thanks so much .
Almond Joy is my favorite candy - I already picked them out of the Halloween bucket for the kids! Fun video, thank you. All four of these cards turned out great - I love them!
Thanks so much. I don't know Almond Joy, but it sounds divine.
This is so cute and how special that your sweet grandson joined you!! You are making wonderful memories!
Thanks so much
Fun video thanks
I just love hearing your laugh, makes me so happy. I really enjoyed this video thanks. The owl is super cute, I may have to buy the book to get that. It looks like really great images in it. I love your glue book videos.
I'm so glad!
I really enjoyed this video so much. Thank you 🙏
You are so welcome!
Fun video, thanks for sharing 😊
100 grand bars and mounds bars. :)
Sorry I don’t understand.
My favorite candy bars. 100 grand bars are caramel and Rice Krispies covered in milk chocolate. Mounds bars are sweetened desiccated/shredded coconut covered in dark chocolate.
Ooh they sound delicious, not heard of them before.
I like the owl one better :)
Thanks, I think it’s my favorite.
My Dad and one of my older brothers have watched Monk.
Oh that’s great to hear of someone else that’s watched him. He’s so different, but I actually enjoy the programmes so much, kind of old fashioned and a bit of light relief! If murder can be called light relief lol.
So fun seeing you working together and having fun together!
Thanks so much Amanda
This has to be the most delightful video I have ever stumbled across on here. You seem lovely and you're quite talented. :)
Thanks so much, that’s very kind of you 🤗🌸thanks for watching.
The twig thing on the bunny could be whiskers?
Ah yes! I never thought of that. Thanks. It’s weird how my brain seems to leave the building these days when I film. Anxiety is real!
it's so pretty! what fun! I hope all is well!
Thanks, yes all good. 🌸😊
I have seen these on Amazon, just wondering why u don't use them directly on the coloring book? I would like to give these a go,i can't afford neo color 2
That’s a good question, I haven’t actually tried them in a book as part of the picture yet, but perhaps I should give it a try.
This is new to me. I do mostly just watercolors but occasionally use colored pencils for accents. This is interesting and I thank you for the good information.
You are so welcome! Thank so much for your kind comment.🌸💕
I so love the hot press professional version of this paper. It's different but almost as nice as Arches, truly. I am happy to have found you, as your channel looks like so much fun. I'm happy to be a new subscriber. I love your style. I am almost 67 and I found art in the last few years. It is one of the great joys of my life now.

I've been getting back into my art work again and haven't had any goof ideas. But this gave me a good idea what I can do. You have such wonderful artwork !!! ❤❤ I'm so glad I just stumbled opon this.
Thanks so much. I am really grateful for your kind comment. I find watching lots of videos and looking at pinterest, or even sometimes some old birthday cards gives one some ideas to get started. I must say that I also rely quite a lot on Skillshare, I love following some of the classes, as there are many that are really good. If you look above at the 'more info' below this video, you will see that I've included a link for a month of free skillshare. You do not have to do the class I linked, you can look for whatever appeals to you. I've subscribed to them for about 5 years now and I even teach four classes.
