This deserves a stand alone game than a Mod itself like black mesa

An Opposing Force source engine remake could use all of the same assets that Black Mesa uses, effectively saving years worth of 3D modeling and texturing.
1. Crowbar Collective probably won't give them those.
2. I imagine the dev team wants to do their own things anyway. And also they started this project long before Black Mesa was finished.
@@staryoshi06 I don't see why CC wouldn't let them, I think it's more down to Tripmine just wanting to do their own thing, which we should all respect.
Yeah, they should atleast ask CC and if they have to pay (probably yes or they just dont get the assets, would be better with them cuz not only does it saves time, it also does not look too different from Black Mesa)

Well there is a Blue Shift mod for Black Mesa, but I guess since it's a " mod " and not a " remake ", it can use the black mesa assets..
Crowbar Collective, Tripmine Studios and HECU Collective should join forces to complete these masterpieces!

they didn’t. they’ll be including the M4 in OBM. They probably won’t have the M9 pistol though

Uno de los juegos es el Blue Shift, no el Opposing force. Es fácil de saberlo porque uno usa guantes y el otro no, porque el de BS es un policía de Black Mesa.

I really don’t like Mp5 grenade launcher. Never did. It makes no sense even in a video game.

this is a game where there are aliens that can jump on your head and control your mind and a giant universal army that can enslave entire planets but you’re complaining about realism
@@jhawk5484 its the suspension of disbelief. when it comes to the aliens you expect things to not be familiar cause they are literally from another universe/dimension. you'll assume that things aren't gonna make sense to you. But when you see something like an SMG with a grenade launcher its not as easy to believe. While there is a mp5 grenade launcher attachment it isn't very popular or as powerful. not to mention the m4 is the standard weapon for US marines. It's like the grenade launcher on the HL2 SMG. Though I will say that one is worse.
That's why the HD pack makes more sense, only thing that I dislike is the AR using 9mm ammo.
