MX 5 Cup R3 2024

Its Round 3 of the MX-5 Cup for 2024, through the windscreen of the number 98.
The clouds parted and we had beautiful crisp day with sunshine and cold temps. There were a few cars to play with in the Open NA class. Jett Herring was back with his unrelenting Herring-style pace. Robbie Giovenco debuted his shiny, new donk and was strong when his new clutch would pass the HP on. And I got a few battles in with my old mate Benny Cathcart, after I ran out of talent at the hairpin. Good to be going toe to toe again with some innovative moves on show.
In general I was missing a bit of pull out of the corners, so struggled to keep people behind me, after some strong starts. I thought she didn't want to turn right because the tyres were getting end of life, but it turns the front left suspension was slowly making a bid for freedom. By the end of Race 3 the top wishbone was hanging off and flapping around. Pretty lucky all in all. That's what caused the roll over a couple of years ago.
