- The Oklahoma Sooners Historical win streak is over at 71 in a 7-5 loss to the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns in their first weekend at Loves field. The Oklahoma Sooners carried this win 71 games now being the 3rd highest win streak in all of NCAA history.

The Sooner softball team that lost its still the best college softball team in the nation. I seriously doubt that record will ever be broken. I'm still d*** proud of what those girls are doing.
Pitching has been a concern this season. Defense / base running miscues were glaring in this game / loss. Overall, OU has played very well thus far. Not sure if they have the pitching rotation set yet. These are the games where they figure that kind of stuff out, before conference play...

Yes losing sucks big time! Who would've thunk it... but to Louisiana? But a new day tomorrow and time to restart the win count. OU needs to crank it up big time with some tough conference games looming in the near future. Boomer Sooner.
