The countdown to the New Year is on at Knott’s Merry Farm with special fireworks, live entertainment, and special extended hours for the one-night event. Guests have a chance to say goodbye to the final moments of 2022 at Knott’s as the park celebrates with memorable festivities including Merry Farm seasonal performances throughout the day on December 31st. The enchanting Knott’s New Year’s Eve celebration gives guests front row seats to the final event of the year as the park rings in 2023 with a park wide-party unlike any other and everyone is invited.
The New Year’s celebration features entertaining activities for the whole family including a family-friendly comedian, live bands, swing dancing and more. Guests are invited to count down the final moments of 2022 with festive music, party hats and noisemakers making this night extra special. The spectacular firework celebration sets the skies above Knott’s ablaze at the stroke of midnight as colorful fireworks light the start of the New Year. The nighttime extravaganza offers a stress-free night perfect for family and friends to come together and create new memories by starting a new tradition by celebrating the New Year ’s Eve at Knott’s.

We stayed the whole night, we had such a great time. They were playing so much good music throughout the park, that I found myself dancing and bopping all night. I really liked the firework tribute they did to all the singers that lost their lifes this past yea. That firework ending was Intense, specially standing in front of Scrambler it felt like they were right in front of your face lmao...OMG can't belive all the fun we had despite the weather- it was AMAZING

Thanks for the great video and staying through the best rain we've had in SoCal in a long time. My wife and I really appreciated the great camera work and seeing all the happy faces which was what it's all about. It's been a rough 2022 but it's rather symbolic that with all the rain we need to realize that "the show must go on" so we might as well make the most of it and have fun !!! Good job.

i was there and wanted to stay for the fireworks but my socks were all wet and i wasnt going to deal with that at the start of the new year lol

I wore three layers of socks, water-proof Under Armor leggings with my jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, a water-proof jacket, and a poncho! I was not going to let the rain ruin my fun! LOL I was so hot, I had to take off a few layers. I felt like little brother from "A Christmas Story!" Happy New Year! I went last night but didn't stay all the way till midnight. It kind of sucks that almost all the rides shut down but I still had a blast. I ended up going on the log ride five times in a row all by myself (I decided since I'm already soaked ,might as well right lol) and then I went on Wipeout but then decided to go home. I thought I was soaked enough for the night
I considered the Log Ride as well! It would have been a good time to go on the Calico River Rapids! LOL Happy New Year!

I've been to Disneyland's new years eve celebration many years ago but don't think i've been to knotts celebration on new years. Me and my boyfriend are gonna go this year so I wanted to see what it would be like. Looks fun and we will still be checking it out not sure if we will be doing the buffet though.
It's a lot of fun. Busy... but not packed like Disneyland. There is a lot of entertainment. I have gone every year for the past 15 years!
So are roses still going during the new years extended hours ? We’re going this year with my kids pretty excited I know it’s going to be very cold 🥶

How much did the buffet cost?
I'm trying to remember... it may have been around $50 for adults. Note: they have not officially announced a buffet for this year yet. If/when they do, we will post on FB and IG with prices.
Did you even go on any of the rides? Who goes to knot’s berry farm and does not go on the rides!
I rarely go on the rides LOL, especially during Scary Farm and Merry Farm. I visit Knott's at least once a week, so I typically go for a few hours for a walk, something to eat and say hello to friends. My goal New Year's Eve was to have the buffet, see the shows, and watch the fireworks.
I go on the rides and watch the shows to get the most of the experience.
