    I have a 2016. 2,000 miles. Runs great. Please wear a helmet. My buddy was screwing around in his driveway and tipped it over he fell off to the left side and ATV landed on him slamming his face into pavement with left brake handle gouging into his ear. Nasty accident just in the driveway.

    Get the black exhaust tip for it from 2r racing. Awesome sound and much better flow. Nothing else needed. Very simple upgrade and I love the rumble it gives it. And be careful when ordering the Powermadd Sentinel handguards because for the Grizzly you need special mounting hardware. It's a different product number than the mounting hardware for all other quads. It should be in the small print at the bottom of the page. It says something like " if ordering for a Yamaha grizzly then order this mounting hardware ". Good luck.

    • @TheCallfam3
      @TheCallfam3  Год назад +1

      Awesome thank you very much for that information. I really appreciate it. On the exhaust tip do I need to modify anything else? So I want mess up anything on the machine. And will it give it more Power?

    • @benmayhew373
      @benmayhew373 Год назад +1

      @@TheCallfam3 you don't need to do anything else if you put the Billet tip from 2r on your Grizzly. It doesn't really add any HP but it does feel like the throttle response is better but that just might be the amazing sound. It comes with a small flat spark arrestor screen and new bolts. Super easy to change out and your bike will run cooler also as it's a 2 inch exhaust exit now instead of the small stock size. I highly recommend it. And my dealer here in Canada told me that it doesn't affect the warranty or anything else. It's actually better for the engine because of the increased flow. The new sound is the best part!!!

      That’s a plus 1 for the exhaust tip. I put one on my 2021 Grizzly and it makes a huge sound difference. Sounds sooo much better. Installed in about 2 min...

      @@TheCallfam3 look at whiskeybent exhaust tip 1.5 45 degree bend. You can feel the performance and not as loud as the 2R tip, it gets annoying. My 2021 grizzly with the whiskeybent tip sounds like a YZ 450. Wife likes it too so put one on her Kodiak 700.

  • @SuperDave-pe1zw
    @SuperDave-pe1zw Год назад +1

    My 2021 Grizzly had a heat shield already there under the fender, and shocks come on the 2nd setting all the way around. It's a good starting point, you might want to go stiffer if you have a lot of extra weight but mine rides great on 2nd setting. Enjoy your Grizzly It's a mighty Beast 😉

    I got a 2011 Yamaha Rhino sports edition I bought it new left over in 2012. The paint started pealing off it or clear coat before the warranty was up and the dealer Wouldn’t do anything. It’s so bad now I’m changing all the plastics. I said I never buy another unit with painted plastics.

    Don’t let it stay submerged too long

    I had a 2019 Kingquad and was definitely faster on the top end than my 2020 grizzly. But the Yamaha power steering is much better and the suspension gives the grizzly seems to have a more planted feel. I’ve put an EHS fuel programmer and a HMF slip on muffler on the grizzly. Runs cooler because the less restrictive exhaust, but is a bit loud. I don’t know if it’s really faster, but the throttle response is quicker.

    • @TheCallfam3
      @TheCallfam3  Год назад

      Yeah I believe on top end it should definitely take it. I just order a 2r racing tip upgrade I’m going to see what that does. I agree with everything you said. I’m still playing with it.

      I really do like the machine. It does have plenty of power. But I’m looking forward to putting on a tune to hopefully wake the beast up. In my opinion it could use a little bit more power but so far it has been very reliable. If I were to do it all over again I would.

    My only gripe about the Japanese bikes is a lack of power. I enjoy riding my 2016 Grizz with the 708 cc motor but I sure would like the 850 twin from the Wolverine. It's for that reason alone that I keep looking at the Can Am 1000 XXR Renegade. I'm keeping the Grizz though.....

    I got a 21 in Armor Gray and a 22 SE. The most well rounded atvs on the market and very nimble. The best feature is the cvt, 4 wheel compression braking and the suspension. Not as powerful as my former polaris but nightmares ahead of it every where else. A bit disappointed in the 21 as the fuel pump went just outside of warranty. Not what i expected with that well known Yamaha reliability

    • @avanluven

      I have a 21 in Armor Grey too. Fuel pump went on it after just a few months of ownership, luckily still under warranty. Wonder if they had a bad batch of fuel pumps go out in the 21s as I’ve read others with the same issue. Been solid otherwise.
