Before coming here I had never even heard of Huay Xai, locacted in Northern Laos on the banks of the might Mekong River. I didn't expect much, but it far surpassed what I could have imagined. It might be the sleepiest town I have ever been to, but it has unsurmountable beauty, endless local charm and its the gateway to incredible river adventures. I can't wait to show you.
