May we have more please? These videos are so enjoyable. Short or long they show the birds up close. Thank you for your work.
Thank you! We have a TON of cool stuff in the works for you guys :)
We have sandhill cranes that come to our marsh every year, they finally showed up 3/29. I love that prehistoric call they make it reverberates so loudly
Yeah! It’s such a cool call and a sure sign that spring is coming.
I'm an invasive species too but I migrate once in awhile. Our snow is gone in central Mushagain. You're almost there as well. Any day now.
Fingers crossed!

I Just saw a Gold-crowned Kinglet about 3 miles into Illinois near Antioch. Also White- breasted Merganser. Pelicans are back. Wis. is beautiful.9
Awesome!
We're getting lots of migrants here in PA. Red-winged blacks birds, tons of grackles, cowbirds, and I even heard an Eastern phoebe and wood peewee yesterday. I can't wait until the warblers arrive. Such an exciting time for birding!
Nice! It definitely is exciting. Probably the most exciting time of the year for birding :)
Ottawa Lake! Winter camped, hand-fed chickadees, red- breasted nut-thatches.
Nice!
Looks like some of our winter migrants, like Hooded Mergansers, are starting to show up in your area. I'm sending them out your way, ha-ha.
Haha, much appreciated!
Think SPRING! It’s coming!
Your camera work is just great. Thank for this.
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Eastern Phoebe here north of Kansas City Mo means Spring!
Awesome!
I too have seen a pair of grackles.. but never a red wing.. also saw some cow heads.. and gee that mallard wanted no part in your film lol.. nice video.. ☮️
Thanks, Yvonne! And yeah, those Mallards are always so dramatic, haha
@@BadgerlandBirding oh hey it’s me again.. my sister called me an idiot.. as I told her I saw a pair of cow heads.. she exclaimed wtf is that... lol..To which I replied you know that bird that black bird with a brown head..,Insert the word idiot here.. She informed me of the correct name and then I happen to think.. oh shoot ! I put that in that comment so I’m here to say I am an idiot and I now know the real name of that bird... LOL...☮️
Thanks, Ryan! I love to see those different waterfowl species that we don't have out west! So where is the red on the the "Red Wing Blackbird"?
You're welcome, Jenise! It's normally right above the little yellow area on the wing, although they don't always have red there depending on age of the bird and season/molt. The Red-winged Blackbird used in the cover image has a decent amount which you can also see here! www.flickr.com/photos/131682999@N07/17102963966/in/photolist-rMfhtR-s6w8yF-VjHTtQ-rNYXdL-UhCJWb-rMfk5x-s6rigY-s6wmDP-s4hvP7-r9zcff-r9Mfdp-FHaMN1-GutKhG-HjgYJg-rxk2d1-H15d2u-GqEej5-s4kak5-EToctS-GuKrso-FEDFMU

I saw my first scissor tailed flycatcher of 2021 in Benbrook, Texas this past Sunday :)
Congrats! I had one in Louisiana on Sunday too! -Derek
I saw them here in early February, nice video!
Thanks, Coby!
Great video and we're seeing a lot of the same migrants up here in the Ottawa, Canada area as well. Nice to have the Red-winged Blackbirds back - it's interesting to watch them sing and claim territory. We had a few Canada Geese stay around as well all winter which is becoming more usual - same with Mallards. Great content as always and thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Neil! Hopefully the next waves of migrants will be here soon.
