Very nice! I'm just curious why you used the alternate third valve fingering on your trumpet F# and G at 1:53 but use the standard fingering for the same notes when you play the same line at 4:50. I was also impressed that you and the alto sax were in tune with each other when you both landed on the high concert F at the end.
Doh! Just listened to this again and realized you recorded yourself on another track at the end so you were in unison with yourself on trumpet on the high trumpet G at the end, not unison with an altissimo alto sax. Still a great job all around.
cool. though at the beginning, there' a little stumbling in the solo trumpet. not really fluent. but great arrangement. and I love this kind of funky jazz.
