- So I've been slowing catching up with Gotham (not only watching Bruce&Selina scenes, like I've been doing for a while but the entire eps xD thank to the complex relationship that is Oswald&Ed) and I got really inspired to make a video about Cat ♥

Amazing video hun, I don't think I've seen videos that portrayed the underlying sadness of her character that well ♥ The part with all the "I'm sorry" really got me. It seems that people just keep let her down, and considering that she already has major trust issues, she really doesn't need more diappointments...

Man, it really makes you realized why she won’t let herself be swept up by Bruce; she can’t let herself be that vulnerable. It’s self-preservation on an emotional level.
I know right how many times has Bruce told her she doesn't care but time and time again she proved that she cares so much
Of course, she was going to eventually stop taking him at his word he has proven time and time again that he will let her down
Selina is one of my all-time favorites honestly her origin story and the other rogues and villains are far more interesting to me than Bruce’s
Like I feel bad that a kid ad to witness what he did but Selina didn't have to step up and help at all but she did
I will never be over Alfred slapping her he's a full-grown man with a military background he's is supposedly a good person but it's ok to slap a person smaller and more vulnerable than him?
I love her style. I don't even watch Gotham but the actress who plays Selina Kyle is gorgeous. BatCat is probably one of my favorite dynamics.
I love her. She is strong and a survivor. She deserves so much than that.

she's my absolute fav on the show and this was such a beautiful tribute to how strong yet vulnerable she is deep down.
Selina Kyle's and Camren Bicondova's relationship with her parent/s is actually very close, whilst Selina's mother abandoned her and used her, but Camren's on the other hand is far worse and I don't want to say anything, because it's heartbreaking!
I love how at the end before Bruce leaves she opens up more to him
Watched the ending of season 5 episode 11 and then see this. I think Selina Kyle is the most tragic character in Gotham

She is a tragic character--alone and abandoned.
At the same time--Bruce spent a small fortune at a mere chance her mom would stick around and be a parent.
Jim truly tried to save her friend, who 'perished' only because she was trying to barbecue cops instead of peacefully surrendering like Jim tried to convince her to do.
Her mom was the only one who truly betrayed her.

Of the people saying sorry, Selina really didn't have the right to be angry at most of them... Bruce spent a couple hundred grand on the chance that maybe her mother would stay with her child. Jim Gordon tried to get Selina's friend to peacefully surrender, and the firebug was harmed by her own attempt to torch James. Selina's lashing out at people who went the extra mile to help her.
Andrew Benson i don’t believe you understand the concept of being upset about something. sure, bruce was just trying to help but imagine not seeing your mother in eleven years and then not coming back to see you but the guy you’re dating, do you know how terrible that must feel, you finally let your guard down to let her back in and she pulls that. selina has every right to be angry and her lashing out was perfectly justified.
She had every right to be angry at her mom. that doesn't give you the right to lash out at people who tried to help you. bruce tried to help her have a mom around, but her mom left anyways. james tried to get bridget to surrender, but bridget accidentally torched herself
John logan it's more so the fact that he knew it wasn't for her and kept it from her. Bruce wasn't trying to hurt her but she preferred the truth because she trusted that from at least him
Bruce allowed Maria to play with Selina's feelings knowing how difficult it would be for Selina to trust her mother again after abandoning her for years. He should have told her the truth and would have avoided the terrible disappointment that took her to find out. can you imagine how painful it was for selina? You would like your boyfriend lie to you in that situation? Selina trusted him, so she has every right to be angry with Bruce!

ok i officially hate selina kyle, so what that she's homeless in a rough ass neighborhood, there's thousands of people like that, and people who's parents left them, and bruce is not selfish she is, he sacrifices every night and she steals. Plus she also is a killer and a drama queen who dosn't care about anything or anyone but herself and that's not surviving that's not even living.
