Thank you! I had no idea that Hz was a parameter when it came to EEPROMs, and was trying to figure out why the replacement 24C02 chip that I got wasn't working in my machine.
I got a 400KHz chip and I needed a 1MHz chip... Oh well!

Hi Haseeb, but how to do you program the EEPROM with the same data? Because the replacement EEPROM will be blank.

yes you are right the new PROM / EEPROM is blank
we need a source code, or copied code from last memory chip. then we can copy into new chip using recommended programmer in BIN format
if we don't have source code, then we cannot use new EEPROM
