Nice! Welcome to Tokyo :) My company helped with the relocation - they gave me contact to a english speaking housing agent. After which, tell them your requirements / look online, they will give you a few listings to choose from and pick you up, drive you to the place to check it out!
Do you like the neighborhood? We’re apartment hunting in Tokyo and were wondering about the surrounding Shinjuku neighborhood. Would love to know what you think! And any more units available in that building? :)
Hello. I just came across your site tonight ! You have a great apartment ! You should get a swing and put it on the Balcony and just sit and unwind from your day ! Your water bill is more money than your gas !! Crazy i think !! Im in USA .PENNSYLVANIA. im going to follow you n your adventures... Thank you for sharing your life with us ! Enjoy your week !!
I love how Asian apartments look as though they’re mostly suited for living, whereas in the US everyone makes all parts their homes presentable for entertaining. For example the balcony - I never go on the balcony! I don’t use it, I don’t want the sun damage and I can see pretty views from inside as I have large windows in my bedroom. Laundry area is a PERFECT way to efficiently utilize the balcony, but here it’s supposed to be the “patio” with a bunch of fairy lights, a barbecue and wicker furniture 🙄 Why does everything have to be situated for having company?? I’m the one that has to live here!! 🤬
@@meowkitty69 No one is saying that I can’t do it or that I don’t have free will, typical that your first inclination is to criticize me 🙄 I’m talking about the inevitable social pressure of people coming in and being like “what’s that!!??” when they look at my balcony if it’s a laundry area and not a patio. I’m basically making a statement to Americans to get over it, that there is a more logical way to arrange one’s home as proven in asian countries.
@@willp.8120 you are thinking of barbecue as a verb, I used it as a *noun*: “barbecue. noun. Definition of barbecue (Entry 2 of 2) 1 : an often portable grill. 2 : an outdoor meal or party at which food is cooked over hot coals or an open fire.”
Love to watch that . Your home is nice specially living area . I want to live in Japan too . Maybe i Will be in Japan if there is scholarship for me. Love from Pakistan

That outdoor space is amazing. I’ve seen lots of Japanese apartments and you’ve got a Goldmine there. Pop a couple steps up and decorate
Very nice space and enjoyed your tour. Thank you for sharing. Nice natural light and good views.
you can buy something to cover the sink and use it as food prep space
yes i did buy one from daiso! but it still feels cramp :( quite frustrating
@@imkayelle1746 big kitchen sucks
@@imkayelle1746 people usually use dining table to prep. U have sofa, office desk, coffee table, but none dining table
Videos like these are very enjoyable, thank you for posting this!
Nice place! I'm planning to move to Tokyo after the borders reopen. Please share more on how you manage to find this apartment!

@@imkayelle1746 can you share which housing agent it was?
You should buy a sink cover/food prep board to increase your kitchen space some more.
Didn’t know line can be used for that. Thanks for sharing. Very cool set up.

you can go out in the balcony very early in the morning, sun damage is less and to get a good dose of vitamin D. or after sunset till night.
I think you mean grill, not barbecue.

Hi, May I ask what building this is? I’m moving near Shinjuku for a job and I like that your balcony overlooks the docomo tower.
Nice 👌
Wish you happiness in your flat

Hello again . I forgot to ask you if you are allowed a pet at your apartment ?
Thank you kindly.
Cadê as legendas? Nem todo mundo fala inglês.
Are you allowed to have a bbq grill on your balcony?
that was my original thought! but sadly nope :( neighbours would call the fire department if they see smoke coming out of your balcony :(
How much is the rent of an appart like this in Tokyo ? ^_^
Nice but small😢
Damn I didn’t even know Japan had such expensive apartments
there are cheaper and better apartments though
Thank you .

You are paying way too much. 1850 dollars for something that small? Really?
