Love the use of the microcosm with all this stuff

The microcosm is the perfect counterpart to synths.

TO ME, Microcosm is just ear candy - It's takes everyones input and makes it all the same. It will go down as "SHIMMER" of the 2020's". It's like you spent 5 hours on a gourmet meal and then put sugar all over it. There are RUclips videos with people playing a $500 Mother 32 and a Microcosm, and others with $20,000 worth of synths and a Microcosm, and they sound the same. "Make me an ambient artist by spending $400". I personally prefer it removed from the equation because it's a canned combination of effects coloring the sound, rather that just some carefully selected light effects to enhance. It has a unmistakeable trademark sound due to it's combination design. It's not an instrument but people use it as one. THAT BEING SAID, I do mean no offense to the video creator here because he has some great content on his channel.

Hey mate, new subscriber here, from Australia, I'm sure you have been through this a few times, but can you please just give me the short version; what is the deal with your right hand on the bass, I've never seen anyone play like that before, I play the same 6 string Dingwall & I am most intrigued as to why you play like that??Cheers mate!

Honestly it happened through many iterations of being frustrated with standard 2-finger right hand technique. Also trying to emulate other 'alternative' right hand techniques with different degrees of success. The real push for my current technique happened when I switch to playing lots of chords on my six string. I wanted a more seamless way to go from single string sixteenth notes to playing full chords. So I tried emulation Matt Garrison's and Dominique Di Piazza's right hand techniques, and also Damian Erskine's. My right hand technique is a strange hybrid of those mixed with some classical guitar techniques.
