Both of my slgs are about more than a year and the cloth zipper on my wallet is not hairy, but the bottom of the wallet have signs of wear and tear of the canvas coating peeling off 🥲 my recto verso is my go-to wallet for solo mummy errands !
@@azanizah128 woah, you just proved a point that LV zippers are really superior to other brands like Chanel/ Balenciaga. I dare not get anything with zippers from these brands. So far my speedy's zipper and keepall's zippers are still good, I was wondering if they use the same zipper material for SLGs cause SLGs are technically cheaper. I shall get one with zipper to try. in my opinion, real leather (of any animals, and with whatever treatment) is more durable than non-leather material. A chanel leather bag from the 90s, a hermes wallet from 30 years ago, even a non-luxury leather items like from michael kors or any other small independent brand would last longer from any brands that use non-leather materials. Just my honest opinion. Of course, the way those leather items being used and cared for, contribute to how long it will last. 🌸

Helpful, but leather is an animal and will wear and tear quicker. But then it gives it character
