One of the problems with MMA is that they treat it like a promotion and not a sport. You end up with all these weird match ups and not figuring out who the best fighter is. It becomes who is the best marketer. What's the point of the UFC if they can't do their own marketing for the fighters? And they do all of this while simultaneously taking away fighters' abilities to make money from sponsorships and whatnot

@baxeto2595 To be fair, nobody was paying attention to the 125 division at that time. DJ was smoking everyone....too easily. The fights had no real drama to them, and DJ wasn't doing anything to build it. We didn't pay attention to the division until the Cringe (Henry) came along....then we had some fights that people wanted to see.
