- The Tand Invitational 2021 was a great celebration of bodyboarding here in South Africa. I'm so stoked to get a third place against some really tough competition. Thanks to all the organisers and sponsors who made this event happen. Can't wait to be bodyboarding in a competition vest soon again!

Congratulations. And great video like always. If I could be so bold, I would suggest going easy on the slow-mo. It looks more impressive when there's less of it in my opinion.
I thought the slow mo was pretty cool to see the technicalities of this wave. I like it.

Was the leg drag to slow you down or keep you on a high line?
It looked like is was to turn sharply
Leg drag was to slow down but also stop me from sliding into the lip. You can see if the other clips how steep the wave is and by doing that with your leg, it slows the body and keeps you in the correct position at the bottom of the wave. 🤙🏼🤙🏼 I’m gonna break some of this down in a video soon!
