- Here, I present to you the trickiest MBA Interview I faced as a non-engineer fresher (B Com graduate) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. The video is an attempt to replicate my IIM Kozhikode interview experience with the following profile:
10th - 81%(West Bengal board)
12th - 84.33% (West Bengal board)
B Com - 7.26 CGPA
Work-Ex - 0 months
Gap years- 2 complete years
Category- EWS
I will also share the rest of my interview experiences to give you a hang as to how the interview process is and what you can expect. I will also try to bring in different people for you to diversify the interview experiences for other profiles.
The channel is with an aim to help fellow aspirants understand better about the exam and score better. I will try my level best to share all the learnings I have had in this journey of three years where I went from 44%ile in the first attempt to 97.84 in the third attempt while managing different things on the plate.

(I got 91% in Xth , 95.6% in XIIth and 70% in grad + Fresher )
What % of CAT should I aim at to get a call from IIMs ?
get as much as you can, why limit yourself?
@@HemantTulsan08 but given 4 months in hand , I just wanted to know the feasible % I can aim at .
For Udaipur and below IIMs, 96 is good. For the higher ones, 98 should be a minimum Target

Just came across your channel and immediately subscribed to your channel within the first few minutes of watching this video. The genuineness of the video really caught my attention.
I just had one question regarding GAP YEARS that has been in my head since a long time.
Were you doing anything else apart from preparing for CAT in your 2 years of gap?
Does it really matter if I have GAP years in my profile? For a general student.
It does matter but a strong reason works things out. I did an internship, one month job ( didn't mention it anywhere), international volunteering at HULT, Instagram page of my own for some time, and sat in my shop.
These all were not done together but distributed within a 2 year time frame. Hope this helps and thank you for such a wonderful comment 😊
Hi Hamant, Ankur this side I wanted to ask you a question since you're studying at IIM Bangalore (I really want to take admission into IIM Kozikhode ) . I recently changed my name legally while in college, so my college degree has my new name. However, my 10th and 12th standard school certificates still have my old name. Do you think this name mismatch could cause any problems for me in the future? I'd appreciate any advice you have as someone familiar with the education system in India. Thanks!

Hii Hemant I appeared for IIM K interview a week back and it was in kenilworth hotel kolkata...but guess what the interviewer didnt ask anything about my acads and they just asked any random ques about my place and food like I was thinking am I at IIM interview? They made me comfortable and it was a whole conversational interview and they teased me a lot and laughing and I was also laughing, it lasted for 15 - 20 mins but no CA, acads nothing they asked me. Now m skeptical how will they judge me though I answered most of que accept 2 ques but still m confused. And ur video reminded me of my PI exp with IIM K

You can if you can manage. I recommend not to, cma takes time and so does CAT.

Hello Jai, not sure if your profile is good but the way you ask questions can definitely be improved. Your words will matter a lot in the interviews, be conscious as to how you use it
