You make very good points - this is a quick way to go viral but not really what Cench is known for. I watched reactions and a lot of rap heads who overanalyze things failed to see the irony in the first few lines. Thus they were like "man this guy is overrated" but with no context or awareness of who he is, of course he's gonna strike you as some random dude calling for attention from Doja Cat. But as you said, he just does his thing and doesn't worry about it as long as he's making money. Great mindset for a performer to have and I think your analysis of it is spot on.

I'm glad to see UK artists gettin the attention they deserve, but I gotta admit the selfish part of me doesn't like everyone knowing abt it. My first intro to the genre was w Loyle Carner. Are you familiar w him? If not check him out I'd love to know what you think, personally i think hes criminally underrated. Isle of Arran, Sun of Jean, Florence, Loose Ends, Stars & Shards are all good ones to become familiar w his work. hope you appreciate his sound too- lemme know.
