My nursery is a small square room like this except with two windows. I don't have the baby bed in the best command position because the windows are very drafty and the baby would get cold in that corner. I currently have the bed in the corner on the same wall as the door because that's the least drafty corner. Like you said, every room has its quirks.
Baby is due any time now, finally moving my 1 year old son out of our tiny bedroom and into his own room. We live in a tiny trailer and his room is small and rectangular. With this drawing, the door is in the right spot, but the oposite wall is a lot closer (rectangular room) the window is on the far left wall and a closet is on the right wall. Watching this video is definitely giving me some ideas for how i want to set things up cause i was at a complete loss! One thing i will change though is where i put my nursing chair. I dont think i wanna be right in sight of the door while nursing 😅 seems like a lot of nervous energy if you got people over
So helpful! In the case there is a window in that ideal corner of the bed (behind the headboard), is it still ideal to put it there? The window is just glass - does not actually open.

not an expert but bunk bed maybe but then they fight over the top bunk. unless one is scared of heights idk 🤷
