This was a test for us. Sometimes travel is easy, sometimes it's not. But we still look back on it fondly. The tough times make the easy that much more fun. Thanks for watching.
Great episode, very interesting and informative. How did you choose your shipping agent in Panama and can you share the details of the agency? Love following your journey, we are about to cross to MX on our PanAmerican trip, learning a lot from you.
Hello, Thanks. Yes, We used IVSS UK ivssuk.com. They have helped us with this and our European tour in 2019. True pros. I'm really happy you're coming down the Pan-Am. Have a great trip, and please reach out if you have any questions.
Hello, These are from Adventure Wagon; they are called Mule Bags. These bags have made a huge difference in the storage space in the Revel. They are mounted to an L-Track that is screwed into the frame of the van. They have been in a few years now and have held up great. Here is a link to the new and improved version of the Mule bag. We hope to upgrade to this upon returning to the USA. adventurewagon.com/products/mule-bag-2-0
We are just using what we find at major gas stations. Not the roadside stuff in Coke bottles. It's been fine so far. Bring extra DEF and Oil/fuel filters. We are doing oil changes every 5K miles too. Lot's of international travelers in Sprinters down here.
OMG was just Atlantic story on the terror of Gap migration - The Atlantic’s September Cover Story: Caitlin Dickerson Reports on “Seventy Miles in the Darién Gap,” and the Impossible Path to America
We just listened to the podcast. What a crazy story! I think the camp we filmed was the camp they mentioned near the road. The story very much aligns with what we have seen down here.
Seems like you stubbled across a hot button issue. Glad you're staying safe, and looking forward to hearing about your next adventures...
Yes, we are seeing it first hand. It's been really intreresting. Thanks so much for watching.
You all are brave souls! This leg of your trip felt really rough. We pray for your safety as you continue on your journey.

Very exciting stuff, thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
Very cool that you got down to the end and saw the camp. And yes, that was a stressful drop off at the port.
It was very interesting. Wish you had been with us but glad you made it in time to catch the boat.

Saw Kathy's cabinets above the bed through the back door. What brand are they and are the mounts secure? This is something I need to add for my wife.
