The last doll you did, the one with no hands, I think that one turned out the best. I really like her style and I think you have her a whole new “life”. Good job! 👏🏼
I loves the bangs on doll #1. On doll #2, thank-you for showing mistakes as well as successes. On doll #3, I have that same Barbie and I've been at a loss on what to do with her hair. Now that I've seen what you do, I'll try it. You did a great job on the hair and, particularly, the face. All in all, great job on all 3 dolls.
The last one is my favorite I love her new eye makeup looks super realistic and her hair looks nice as well I really like the belly button piercing on the dolls the first one the bangs came out nice
You did a fabulous job on all 3! I love how you keep it real. I think the last doll’s makeover was my favorite! I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now and I have yet to attempt my first repaint of a doll. I keep watching shows to inspire me. Hopefully one day soon!
I think your first dolly with the gold dress turned out so beautiful!❤❤ Also the third dolly . I love the way you shaded her eyes and the new color on her lips is GEORGEOUS! Her hair cut is perfect ! Wish i could cut hair that good !❤❤❤❤😊
When bangs separate like that its called curtain bangs. It was popular for a while. U did a pretty good job on her bangs. The piercings look cool. Love the haircut on the last doll.Ava, I legit respect u for keeping it 💯 in your videos. 🐝🐝❤️
Showing mistakes is so important! Especially in the crafting world not every idea turns out according to plan, and you have just saved several people from ruining their favorite dolls by trying use acetone polish remover on them. Makeover #3 was definitely my fav! Her eyeshadow is fantastic and the shorter hair looks awesome! 💞
I love your makeover videos, one of them inspired me to change one of my dolls to give her a change I was really thinking about for a long time and I think it was a success, so thank you for all the inspiration you give 🤗 And thank you also for being "real" and kind of learn along the way with us on the do and don't with doll makeover, it's cool to see you stay authentic and really share all the process when you customise a doll 💕 I also love your restyle of the purple top doll in the end, she has almost a no-makeup style basically with not many eyelashes and your makeover just looks great on her !
All makeovers look great but my favorite is the last doll you brought life back to her with the makeup application and I've learned some points on how to apply I really would mess my dolls up with trying to apply eye shadow and so forth.
Hi ava you are the most creative person in the world like you are so kind love your videos and you are so talented and my favourite the crusty dusty palette you are the best at giving barbies a makeover❤❤❤❤❤#ddsquad
I love how you made bangs for the first one. It looks so much better than the Barbie I bought with Bangs. Thanks for sharing your mishaps and learning lessons with these customizing. I thought the last one rocked with the belly button piercing! & I liked her Wolf Cut too.
I think they all turned out good and you learned something from each one therefore you taught us all some very valuable lessons. Thank you for sharing your ideas and thoughts with us.🤗
My favorite is the Midge/Diva face one. All are cute. Love your videos and your sense of humor. For bangs, if the doll has a part I close it with bobby pin just below my cutting mark. Set it with the hot water, then cut and apply hot water again if needed to flatten.
Oh my gawd, this channel is exactly what I was looking for. I recently took on restoring LJN rubber wrestlers from the 80's. Besides cleaning them up and fixing the paint. I wanted to make them look more like their entrance looks when they entered the ring. They wore alot of robes and such. I don't sew, but I'm giving it a go, but I had no idea how to even start making small clothing items. lol. I haven't looked through all your videos yet, but I hope to find one where you show how to make a robe, since, Robes are going to be one of the main items they wear. Off I go!!!
Even though i am not a child anymore but ur channel always make such amazing videos that i brought an barbie and do every hack that ur channel shows big fan 😁🫶🎀✨️💗
Really appreciate seeing the fails, helps us avoid the same. Especially the bangs, as I can see how easily you could cut it too far back without meaning to. Love the layers, too!
LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the makeovers!! I think the last makeover was my favorite too. ;) I wonder if rerooting bangs would work?? I may have to experiment with that later...haha. But they turned out super cute! Also, I just made a youtube short "giving my doll a nose ring" but I used the little nail art pieces that you use for buttons....and now that im thinking about it, its WAY to large. 😂🤦♀️ Oh well.
I've melted a doll's back with acetone. Watching this made me want to stop you during the tattoo removal. Great job on all 3! Love the bangs, eyebrow piercing, and faceup for doll 3!
I think the tattoo mishap could possibly seen as a scar, which is kind of a cool idea and if you use the doll in anything she can have an added story ❤
I kind of like the acetone damage. For storyline purposes it could be like a birth mark, skin disorder, or burn scar. I rebodied a Brooklyn barbie I got from the thrift store onto a brand new MTM body. It didn't go well, I tried to used pliers to widen the neck hole and then put the head on but it was being stubborn. It caused a lot of stress on the neckpeg (it was hanging on by a thread), so I just decided to remove the part that was hanging off. So basically the whole rod you need to keep the head in place. I then used loctite glue which I got to reinforce heads for rerooting, but it was instant drying, had the same consistency of water, and very messy. I then later learned there is a gel kind which is better. Anyway dripped on the dolls body causing a similar effect to what happened to your doll. After I fixed the neck peg at the cost of head articulation, I used gauze pads I had laying around and wrapped her "wounds" in it and put clothes over it. The bandage and clothes mostly hide it, but an interesting detail is the guaze bandage made her slightly bulkier. But it kind of makes me love her more, it has a nice little padding and it looks like she has weight gain. I kind of love her now, knowing what she's been through and how her struggles made her a unique part of my collection.
I'm glad u didn't get rid of her thick eyebrows. As a girl who has/grew up with thick eyebrows, I love to see representation like that. Its not a flaw but honestly quite cute and probably ethnically correct 😊😊
Ava you crack me up soo much 😂😂 im so serious,a lot of times I rewind like 3 or 4 times cause you’re just so hilarious 😭 Im going through a tough time right now and you and your videos have been helped me through 😊💖 I hope one day I can do what you do!
when I make a mistake putting a tattoo on the dolls I simply scratch it off with my nails, the sooner you do it the easier it comes off and the plastic of the doll is not affected. There's no need to use acetone or anything else, your nails are enough 😉 My favorite is the third make over, you turned a rather bland doll into a really beautiful one! 😍
When removing the temp tattoos from dolls, use a cloth with hot water. Leave on for a couple of minutes. Repeat as needed until the tatt is removed. Good luck!
Fantastic video! On another note, I just wish I could, once and for all, learn how to straighten my dolls' hair with a straightening iron as well! Every time I've tried, I've completely torched the hair. Now, I've finally learned how to do bangs and lips. Thank you for all the great information. :o)
Hi, I have the same tall Barbie Looks with very dark skin. I also messed it up by thinking non-acetone acetone would serve to clean a sticker she had on her belly holding the skirt... mayor disaster, her belly was ruined with a white powder stain! I was in panic, but, I used to work at an automobile plastic parts factory and I remembered we used a Magic Sponge to reduce the gloss in some plastic pieces and it worked. Then I also used baking soda as a gentle scrubber and it work even better the white stain went away title by little. Just make a paste and rub it with your finger very gently, I swear it restores the plastic, my doll is perfect as when I unpacked her. Try only on the hard parts.

Great video!! I looove her transformation!! To me it really softens her face with the bangs and highlights her eyes!!
Maybe you can try using a 70% alcohol. I use that to remove glue. Great video!! I love the piercing!!
I looove the haircut! All 3 look awesome!!

I think a retro style like crochet tops and bell bottom pants 70’s style would suit the hairdo for the first doll. Great job with the video❤
